@tina363 i am just back from a weekend away with the CU at my university and i went asking exactly that question - everyone seems to be emotionally in touch with the Lord, why not me! I have come away a more confident Christian knowing that God will use you, if only you are open to him. Keep in mind Matthew 7:7. God is waiting for you, and He loves you dearly. Keep your eyes and ears open to His bigger plan. I pray that you are successful in finding that saving relationship :)

i love these songs but i'm finding it hard to really become christians anyone i've spoke to have had an emotional reaction to being saved and when i've asked jesus to come into my life i dont feel some big emotional moment am i doing something wrong??

@tina363 have you tried joining a church? joining a fellowship is often a good start in understanding Jesus :)

@tina363 sometimes god doesnt work in a hugely emotional way, sometimes we have to connect with him in different ways. i have met with god in amazing ways before, but for a long while i didnt but i knew i had to trust he was still there working in my life even when i couldnt feel him, and it payed off cos now i can look back and see that he was actually with me, guiding me, helping me. it takes perseverance but i know that god wants to meet with you, and that he loves you :) keep prayingabout it

@tina363 just know that He's crazy about you, and He's never stopped pursuing you. Don't worry, you ain't doing anything wrong, just keep asking Him; He'll speak to you for sure because He loves His creation (i.e. you!!!)

@tina363 It was the same for me. Right now, I'm struggling with this guy I had loved for over a year. Long story short, I decided to give him up and go all out for God. The first day after I commited myself to this cause was awesome. The next day was okay, and then yesterday was horrible

I know this sounds like a typical Christian-girl thing to say, but when I'm feeling down, when I read my Bible, I often feel better.Even if at the time it bears little relevancy to the problem. Hope that helps

@tina363 Getting saved isn't about emotion. Everyone is different and they get connected in different ways. You just need to ask Him into Your heart and repent and have faith in Him!
