@creolelady70 I was 15 years old in 1970 i was part of the 70's movement black people back them really stuck together and tried so hard to make condtions better for black peolpe in America-it iwas very exciting to be a part of that movement-It is sad today that the young people today are shooting and killing each other-it makes us feel that we did to try and make a better way for todays youth was a waste of time-we are killing each other and that is sad

Have you read Professor Davis' books? If not, you should seek them out. You will be given a great deal to think about and hopefully be inspired. She's a brave human being and a great scholar.
