His exposive start relied on his raw strength and power, if he was able to transfer that into the start/accelleration technique used nowdays, he'd have to go close to beasting 9.5. I mean look how he pushed out of the blocks, yes he got out fast but didn't make every stride count, the amount of strides he took in the first 20 metres he should of done that in 30 metres. Look at the other sprinters in this race you'll see what I mean

@Trackstarsprinter That is how Ben's stride was, piston action out of the blocks and transition into stepping over the knee.....the split times he hit along the way would still be up there today. But forgive me if my reply was a bit dismissive, I know you're a knowledgeable guy, I respect that
