I love the pp90 its a beast and it kills so fast, the mp7 is good and i think it is a very close second but it isnt the best for close range combat so i think the pp90 is better in my opinion

I don't really use smgs but my main is p90 because it was my Fav in mw2 and im loyal but it's totally different, I don't like the pp90m1 even though I'm good with cuz it shoots so fast and it makes me feel like I need to go fast too, If Ian camping with a super fast gun, I feel weird. So I generally run, gun, hide, repeat with p90. But I think mp7 is slightly better in some way, and because it's used much more.

For MP-7 The Best Buy would be Two attachments w/ Silencer and Extra Mags .

Due to such High Rate of Fire , the PP90 Runs out of ammo Really Quickly and since it has a pretty high Sway ( Recoil ) you cannot be assured of the Kill with PP90 , whereas MP7 Pretty much delivers as expected in any Senario . But , well we all have our own Opinions so (Y) .

I was trying to figure out the other day and arguing with my mate which is better MP7/PP90M1, i actually said maybe the PP90 is more powerful but has a higher damage drop off - im right ;) He really doesn't even understand what that means and he just says if you're a good player you use PP90 -_- but whatever.

@Arppis had same issue when i started using the mp7. After i saw basically all MLG pros using it on their livestreams i gave it another shot and after 2 days i didnt wanna use a other gun anymore, so i took prestige token on it.

Its weird because theres no recoil but for me there was still a relatively tough learning curve as well

@Zn1P4IvR Yeah, me and Max probably had different source data. Some data is straight from the code of the game, while other data is measured frame by frame in game, which in theory should be most accurate.

@Bartnik36 you couldnt have been more correct in my opinion the pp90 and the mp7 are like the acr and the type 95 the pp90 is in my opinion overpowered with rapid fire since it kills so fast its like the type 95 with rapid fire but the type 95 is still op without rapid fire. the difference though is that with the pp90 with rapid fire i actually use it cause for some reason i dont feel as dirty as i do when i use the dual fmgs or the tyoe 95 i also like the mp7 but dont use it as often

@Bleak5170 If I'm going for a MOAB, I usually try to avoid tags. (As long as we are winning.) If I get too many tags, the game always ends before my MOAB. However, I always go for the win, so if the game is close, I go into "get all tags" mode.

And if you do, do you just leave his tags lying there as well? Then it's just a perpetual cycle of kills for you but no help to the team. I accept his explanation of going for a MOAB but that's the only reason anyone should ignore tags.

@Bleak5170 Or if you are pretty sure if you are going to die getting a tag. Your team gains nothing if you get one tag but get killed and they get your tag, it's even. When I'm playing in a close game, I almost always get more tags than anyone, because winning is my first goal.

I get people asking me what the best gun is in MW3... which is kind of ironic since I stopped playing it, but let's not get into that...

My usual answer is... yes...

*all* of the guns are very good, when used for very specific situations... it all comes down to playstyle and situational awareness... if you can setup a gunfight to the terms dictated by your playstyle and your favorite gun's strengths, you'll win 90% of the time

because of the general map layout of this game, the MP7 is the best gun in the game. the PP90 is the best close quarters weapon and the ACR is the best mid/long range weapon. the MP7 is 2nd in both categories.

I love the mp7 and pp90m1 but I need the red dot with the mp7 otherwise I can't hit for shit with the iron site where as on the pp90 m1 I do well without so freeing up the proficiencies, it's horses for courses diff map diff gun but both good at what they do. I think your problem and the reason for the disagreements was that the P-90 was in second when, according to what you said, the clear contenders were the mp7 and the pp90m1! It's really hard to call the first three, but my opinion is the mp7, the p90 and then the pp90m1, because i can do consistently good with the mp7, i hate reloading and i dont have to as much with the p90, and pp90m1 has a lot of recoil for me. :)

When it comes to doing what an SMG should do (close range), the PP90M1 is superior. But in terms of all-around usage, the MP7 is better. It's kinda like the MP5K vs. the UMP45 in MW2...in terms of close range killing, MP5K was the best, but the UMP45 was the best all-around SMG.

Like you said Bob, it all depends on play style. If you like to play an "in your face" style, the pp90m1 is best. But if you think you would like a mixture of close and medium range, then the mp7 would be best hands down.

MP7 all the way. Your first review mentioned the reduced rapid fire on the MP7 so I started using the PP90 instead. I found though that the MP7 was much easier to use and I was getting more kills with it as a result. Also, I found that I was losing more gunfights with the PP90 because I was having to reload mid-fight but with the MP7s bigger clip I didn't have that problem and could use SOH instead of Scavenger

P90 is a better SMG than MP7. Why would you use a MP7? Theres no reason to. You want to rush: PP90M1, You want to play defensively at long range: Use an Assault rifle.

It really depends on what is the application for the smg. If you mean unclose, tight corner. Nothing will beat rapid-fire pp90m1. If you're looking for an smg that is more general, nothing covers all territory better than the mp7.

Hearing what you are saying and you have made a very sensible and logical presentation for why you are total fucking idiot.

I keed! Both good guns, I just find that the importance of mid to long range capabilities outweighs the need for a gun that can mow down 3-4 people in a tight space. I also tend to play more TDM, so the MP7 is more appropriate in that scenario.
