An HBO series would be great IF they stick to the books. Look what happened to Charlaine Harris's SVM's when Alan Ball got a hold of them.. Totally different story--totally different personalities to the characters. I wouldn't want that to happen to Diana's books.

i think an HBO series might be better...there is just so much that happens in each book it could never fit into 2 -2 1/2 hours. i dont want them to leave anything out!! i love these books so much!

I think u are right a series would be absolutely awesome.But if that is not possible the movie would also be a great alternative.

I hope they make this movie..I've been waiting for ages! I hope soon! Only 3 books in my life have captured me completely and swept me away,and Dianna Gabaldon's Outlander series was one of them!
