It's amazing -two things never change about Don Rickles: his ability to make me laugh and his never changing appearance. He looks the same now as he did 20 years ago! Amazing!
Rickles has slowed down quite a bit, just saw him at the Orleans in Vegas in March. The insults are funny and he gives tribute to Sinatra at the end of his show. All in all, he is an icon!
Dave was married from 1969-1979. She was his college girlfriend and supported him after they moved from Indianapolis to LA. When Dave started to get hot, she found out he was fooling around on her. She moved back to Indianapolis, divorced Dave and got remarried. They had no children.
I truly appreciate & respect the talent of Don Rickles.....always have! The art of "insult humor" is truly difficult to excell in. It definitely requires a certain amount of bravado, timing, and a sense of humor on the audiences' part is essential. Mr.Rickles has a "Masters" degree in what he does. He has fine-tuned "insult humor" into an art form.......and I love the man for having the ability to make me laugh for approx. 40 years! God bless him......a true "King Of Comedy".
