This is a good video. I was helping out at the flood in Stockton in 1991. I remember that my father (assistant pastor) and the pastor had went somewhere and my mom took me with her in the Salvation Army Canteen with food, clothes, and other items. That is a rough area. I was blessed to have helped.
The trailer on it's side and the trailer in the tree were at my family's campground, Money Creek Haven. What a terrible night, I'm so glad no one died there.
Wow, this means so much...my family and I were very lucky to have our part of town untouched by this flood, but I know many people who were not as fortunate. Thank you so much for this wonderful video!
You're welcome. My heart goes out to you all. I hope you return here soon and tell me that life is good again. You will all be in my thoughts and heart always.
First, I am so sorry that you lost everything. Thank God you still have one another. You're welcome for making the video. I wanted to do something to show you all that you are in my heart and my thoughts so I made this tribute. Peace and love to you all,
Thank you for watching it and for leaving the wonderful comment. I was not sure how it would be recieved but my heart goes out to each and everyone touched by this tragedy and I wanted to raise awareness. Much love went in to the making of this. I pray that your family is safe and well. God Bless
You are welcome. Thank you for viewing my slideshow and leaving the kind comment. I am so sorry for any pain you have went through or are still going through from the heartbreaking disaster. My heart is with you all. God Bless.
Thank you for stopping to see the video and for the kind comment. I am so sorry for all that you must be going through... even still, from the flood. May your new year hold much love, happiness and blessings.
wow, that flood was worse than I thought. I really want to move to bluff country too. I kinda wanted to live in the valley so I could look up at the bluffs. Shoot, looks like that ain't happening.
You're welcome. I wanted to do something to show others what was going on and hopefully bring attention to the fact many people could use our help. Thank you for stopping by to watch it. I hope your new year holds more good times then bad, more happy then sad and many blessings.
I am so sorry to hear that. I pray you and everyone else are doing ok. I hope that this tribute I made, to make more people aware, was something you approve of. How is your uncle doing? And you?
Were doing ok, it took him by shock I am sure and yes, I hope that everyone else is able to go on and live past this disaster. The people affected by this flood are in my thoughts an prayers.
Nice to see shots of the Minnesota National Guard in action. We were happy to help and will always be ready for future disasters.
