Kids don't atten school longer they still attend around 180 days. Just the vacation days are longer instead of one week there might be 3 weeks. The breaks are spread out through the year.
We don't live in an agagrian society anymore. The more kids attend school the more knowledge they gain. There will always be slight retention loss. The more you imprint the curriculum in the brain they will eventual obtain a wider range of subject manner. America is suffering from denial!! You are too. The whole educational systems needs change. The way society thinks needs to change.
