you can buy boxes of paraffin wax, is which i use because the oils in it are very slippery. It's mostly used in hand and feet treatments by dipping you hand in it while it's warm in a bucket. But skateboarding is also another way to use the wax :)

candles are good for rails but for curbs and ledges proper skate wax is recomended as it contains oils and lubricants but so do some candles, ive been skating for 6 years so nobody tell me i dont no whaqt im on about ! hope i helped (:
