linux can't cut vinyl from a plotter, run sony vegas, operate most digital cameras straight out of the box, operate scanners, convert videos to flash, rin winrar, cant print photos on a shinko dyesub printer, can't run internet explorer 7, but it can run maybe a few hundred very quirkey/generic/awkard apps that when installed and I add installed in an unsure fashion that are bland and incomplete and most of the time remind me of old shareware apps that were found online during the win 3.1 days.

y5op yes it is healthy for ur computer thats why befor i done it it was fearlty slow but when i done dual sreen it was 10 times faster jonothewright and yes it does have better things to show well my one does my ones home premuiem

Linux has never had a windows switcher. it had a cube flip to switch between DESKTOPS, this is for WINDOWS.

mouimen Vista 32bit can only see a max of 3gigs of ram but Vista 64bit can see all ram but 64 bit has less driver support and who gives a shit about vista Linux all the way

I'll tell you who gives a shit. all the people in the world that are PC gamers. I have no problem with Linux but I, like most of people like Windows because most everyhing is developed for Windows because that's the only OS reatail stores carry and that all that people buy. You dont see a person that doesnt know much about computers go in a store and say specifically that they want Linux or Mac. They say I want a computer they sell them a Windows based.
