Whoa! what a wonderful classic. I first heard tthis song in Bouake, Ivory Coast when I was a student at College Martin Luther King (CMLK). I tried to sing this song my way; for I could not understand the lyrics. instead of Kavulmaye, I used to say Kafulmaye! Absolutely close!
this song reminds me of the great boxing match between Mohammad Ali and George Foreman In Kinshasa Zaire, i was a kid living in Tanzania, Kavulmaye, bet aye. still i dont understand any word from the song but still i love the song
