@CJM8911 - I could be wrong but I believe Maine Coons are the best with allergies BECAUSE of the dense fur (can't get down to the skin where the real problem lies) . . I have had people over with extreme allergies (skin face swells) and they didn't know I had a cat!

I can tell, as a cat lover that Max is truely loved and cared for. He seems so respondant loud and happy. Talking to animals is a great stress reliever, as well as goos for human interraction and is a show of affection. :) Beautiful cat you have. :D
