@892927G4M3R hehe, well. I can tell you, sadly for your statement, that I don't drink coffee. If anything I must have been on a sugar rush or something :P
I dont like single input for memory, Less control. I also know a way alot smaller, At least half the size i upload a video and add as a response in a sec
@viroware well, the thing about this memory cell here. Is that it was the first ever build, at least according to what I have been able to find. So naturally, I wanted to also be the first to have one on YouTube. And being the first, it is of course a tiny bit big :P
@EGhostdk cant post a response but its on my channel, Im sure its not the first, i didnt make it, But cant find the video. But all tho iv made the video i would recommend never using flip flops apart from buttons ect, Whats the main reason. Using for memory is just a bad idea. There is no way to keep track of it correctly for such things as red stone computers, You could change it to work better, But then you might aswell just start with the 2 inputs instead of making 1 input to a 2 input.
@bigjoe800 if you can make it any smaller, send me a video link would ya? :). And really, is any redstone contraption, that does something cool like calculations, ever going to be small?
@kkme7 without the sticky piston, the glowstone or piece of iron would not come back up. The sticky pistons pushes a piece down, and pulls it back up again.
@EGhostdk thanks for the response. I do realize the difference between a sticky and a regular piston, but why do you need to push the block down in the first place?
This is really great, thank you!, but do you realize the lateral pistons are behaving strangely? I mean there's no reason for them stay off while having a redstone wire powering them. I tried to make it smaller, I did, but i had problems with that fact :D I'll probably use this and credit you in a video soon. Again, thanks.
@bcFonser I the pistons can't move because, well. I have no clue too be honest :D. I think it is a bug with the pistons, and I hope Notch will leave it there for the time being :D
And about making it smaller, I tried but I don't think it is possible, you can try if you want though :D. And if you want too use it in a video, sure :D. But giving as shoutout/credit for the single gate would be nice :)
@EGhostdk The Lateral Piston's acting strangely is due to piston nature.. Your RS Nor is a partial pulser, it turns off, and pulses, which pushes the block to empty, then powering is again, so both off for a moment, both on for a moment, then switches, but it happens at same time, which stops it from pushing back as they've both 'pushed', not an error, and shouldn't be fixed either :P
Did anyone else notice that he built everything superfast??? To me it looked like he had like five cups of coffee lol.

Hi dude im new so can you tell me what programme are you using?
diabloteam1 2 months ago
@diabloteam1 I guess you're asking which program I'm using to record with, and that's FRAPS. If it's what program I'm playing, it's minecraft.

isnt this a D-Flip-Flop?
ClAyMoReAcR 2 months ago
@ClAyMoReAcR maybe, I'm not really an expert on the naming :P
EGhostdk 2 months ago
@ClAyMoReAcR No...
It has the same effect though :), but... a D-flip-flop is working through another schematic.

its really smart but damn ... you absolutly drank too much coffee before recording ^^

the sticky piston is only needed when using a lever. so if you make it with the button you can make it less space consuming.
also the platform is unnecessary. just dig 1 down under the block attached to the sticky piston instead.
but nice invention. :D
Buyboomstick 6 months ago
@Buyboomstick this thing was never intended for a lever. It was made with a button in mind lol :P
And I'm not sure I'm getting what you mean by the platform is unnecessary. Could you please explain that in more detail?
And lastly, thanks :)
EGhostdk 6 months ago
@EGhostdk sorry for the bad explaining. i've also seen you've made it the way i ment in other vids so never mind that

isnt this more like a double t-flip flop? well either way its a good invention and i have been looking for something like this for awhile.

@Jackx598 I'm not quite sure what to call it :P. But thanks :D

I don't get what the sticky piston is for, but it looks like a good invention.

More of a flip flop than a rs nor. Very good tho
