uhh no do you not realize that that video was recorded on a standard video camera? u can tell its too much sound for the camera to handle so the sound is getting warped. where as the audio in this video was mic'd. timing wise the audio in that video is exactly the same as it is in this one

Dave Mustaine said early this decade that he was done with Megadeth, and when he got them back together, I don't think he asked Dave Ellison back, or Ellison didn't want to come back....not sure which.

Ellefson left when Mustaine was diagnosed in 2002 with nerve damage in his wrist. They disbanded. Dave sought rehab and relearned to play the guitar without affecting his wrist further. During that time, Ellefson was worried about royalties (which to this day he will admit, he was clueless of what the royalty process was). He tried suing Mustaine for royalties he felt he deserved having started Megadeth with Mustaine from day 1. Bad blood boiled. They do speak today as friends.

The vocals are always polished up a bit in the studio. One of the main reasons is because while recording live venues tend to sounds horrible vs being there in person. Venues are designed to sound good to the ears not for recording. To make a DVD or Live CD better to listen to work is needed in the post. I have seen them live and they sound amazing live.
