  • @shads24 Indonesia is the combination of China and India...

  • I like her outfit! It's very beautiful.

  • Great video !

  • what kind of dance..?no art..just jumping ikei ape..

  • No matter what happen,Bali still going with its own way, culture, tradition because the way of balinese life is difference with western life style

  • Beautiful dance, very gracious movements. I am Brazilian and I ,ve never seen these dances. Amazing!

  • Beautiful. Where was this filmed? I saw a great performance in Ubud but it took place inside.

  • I am half Kiwi and half Indonesian. I love and respect Baliness/Indonesian culture very much :)

  • very beautiful n mystical...

  • Nice Dance , it is very close to World's Oldest Classical Dance ODISHI ( from India). Kalinga ( Odisha) had strong relationship with Bali so it might be influence form Odishi Dance. but there is some unique and nice art on it. We Odiya people love Bali and every year we celebrate 7 days Bali Festival in Cuttack City in Orissa to remember the old 2000 years of nice relationship with Kalinga and Bali.

  • @tanmayacs rubbish , oriyya where never sea farers , the Bali Hindu culture was the remnant from Java after the islamic invasion

  • @tanmayacs lndian propaganda crap , wheres the historic evidence to proof the cultural link between orissa n bali ??

  • @TanjongTiram Don’t forget your freedom struggle and role Biju Patnaik ( checke in Wikepedia )

He flew to Java and brought Sultan Sjahrir aboard from Java on 22 July 1947 by his own Dacota and reached India via Singapore on 24 July. For his act of bravery he was awarded 'Bhoomi Putra', the highest Indonesian award and a rare distinction ever granted to a foreigner.

  • well bali is hindu majority place and so lots of similarity between india and bali...!!!hinduism is pure celebration of life...!

  • @shads24 I'm not Indian, but there are a lot of Indian people in my city, and I can see what you mean. I was thinking that even before I read your comment. I envy your opportunity to go to Bali.

  • Wonderful dancing, wonderful music and gorgeous dress, thank you for sharing!

  • Valentinromania I don't know where you have been in Bali. I'm going there since 3 years now every year and it's a wonderful place. And food speaking... I never ever had any issue even eating in the street

  • Dancing's lovely. The sound could be better but I bet it's nothing you can control with the windy weather. :P

  • i've seen that and i've tried lol

  • i know how to dance that and im balinese

  • I was born in Bali, and I'm Indonesian. I missed Bali sooooo much..

  • BALI IST THE BEST INSEL DER WELT

  • for your narrow-mindness, blindness like a bat, and plain stupidy - it could be you are the asshole - look at yourself first- you have no morals nor ethics - maybe you're Demonic !! What have they done to you Bigger Asshole ???

  • selamat pagi, apa kabar.

  • It's beautiful. But there's a lot more than Bali in Indonesia. Try to go to Bangka Belitong, Medan and Bunaken.

  • Detroit to there how long, and how much/ get out of the US while the gittin is good, screw bush and obama mccain

  • damn I miss Bali's atmosphere. nothing's like Bali. I want to go back there from germany.

  • ≈♥≈ I hv been to Bali 2 times, it's one of the most beautiful island in Indonesia...EXOTIC People, food & tradition. And the beaches...are just AWESOME!! I love Bali Music...its so alive & unique. It really wakes up my soul. :D

  • i am half indo (bali) never be there....

  • god this makes me homesick. lived in jakarta and went to bali all the time. but i moved back to the US...i need bali!!

  • I went to Bali last year with a couple of my classmates, it was a great fun. I'd love to go there again in the short future.

You Balinese are such nice people.

  • actually it doesnt strike me as being much like Indian classical dance at all. Much more like Thai dance. Indian steps are far more structured and precise, with complicated interactions with the thallum ( rythym). Kutchipudi and Odissi and Bharatanatyam look nothing like this. ( this dance is graceful.... but simpleand spontaneous) that said, it doesnt nullify its connections to Hinduism

  • Beautiful dance thoroughly enjoyed it.

  • Greetings..

Why is there always a big brouhaha whenever an Indian influence is suggested on the south-east asian cultures? we didn't build colonies there, we brought our culture, religion, music and dance to the people in those regions. The first kingship or dynasties in all these countries were founded by hindu princes from especially, eastern & southern India perhaps farther back in antiquity than currently presumed. So, u see Ramayana having a big cultural influence, but not Mahabharata. Ciao

  • wow! like the bali stage at king of fighters 97!

  • バリ島が好きです

  • 私もよ!

  • ありがとう、癒しのバリ島、第二の古里です、

    数え切れない程行きました。

    Origin: Papua, Indonesia

  • I love Bali People dancing i have been to bali 10 times

  • ive only been 3 kurtis u beet me lol!!

  • When I watch the vid it reminds me of a little pradise^^

  • u can really see the indian influence in this dance

  • indian..?!!! idiiih gak level la yaw..!! tae ah!!!

  • what? write in english dude

  • s/he claims the dance are pure, not from Indian.

Actually we have the fusion of Hinduism and Buddha culture, so it's not exactly Indian.

  • It has some influence, but the ndonesian part can clearly be seen.

  • Yeah, that's true. It resembles the temple dances very much. For example Kuchipudi. But there's also the substrate of the original Balinese culture which is very close to the Polynesian ones.

  • Tarian dan musiknya enggak sesuai .Penarinya sudah bergerak jauh musiknya baru kemudian .Apa waktu ngerekam tarian dulu baru nanti musiknya ?

  • its called Cendrawasih. it's a name of a bird.

  • nice

  • Hi

  • This is Cendrawasih Dance. Cendrawasih is a unique bird from Papua-Indonesia. This dance is cretaed by Mrs. Bandem (artist, the wife of Mr. Bandem, head of Bali Art Institute-Denpasar)

  • Angin gede, aget sing mekeber he he he....Was beautiful..

  • i'm indonesian/japanese/venezulean but more indonesian and i live there

  • "Cendrawasih." What a wonderful dance about 2 birds in the spring forest. Thank you for sharing. it is so sad the way that our special and sacred spaces are now being invaided by greedy corporations and land grabbing developers. Don't let what has happended to Hawaii happen to Bali. See youtubes video "Discover kauai" Our tiny island of kauai is now fair game for all that is going wrong with our Planey Earth.

  • bali bali frig ya muthii

  • salat pagi. video bagos, nama saya Marty. I'm a master in indonesien. That dance was cool, but not as cool as the frog dance thing.

  • oh! I know that name of this dance! it's call "Cendrawasih" and it's about two birds frolicking at a spring in a forest- in fact, I had to perform that dance today at an ethnic festival. The red dress is really pretty, but i think it looks kind of stupid on me. I'm too short. Haha. When I did it, I was the second bird that came in.

  • I doing a project on the dance of bali and I don't really have many ideas of what the dances are or where they come from....is there anyone who has any thoughts to help me out!!! I would really appreciate it!!

  • Hi Im from Bali
