You brought up some really good, intelligent points. I wonder if you could be more specific in your rhetoric, though, for sensitivity's sake: "any man that is attracted to a transsexual is a straight man..." here i think you mean "and man that is attracted to a transwoman is a straight man." FTMs also have a lot of misogyny, misanthropy, and disrespect directed their way. Thank you for the video!
thank you mama nellie for that wonderful yet message of truth, everyone needs to respect each other despite race or gender. i think you need to talk about these negative gay families, ballroom families that is degrading and giving a negative outlook to people in the gay community. again thank you for that wonderful message and i love the look like always,
You are so true gay men can be worster than straight people. All lot of gay men hate transsexual because of the man that find them attractive. Most of the men be no good but they will push the transsexual out in front of a bus for that man! Sad!
Hello Chanel, I understand what you said and I agree.I hope however that transsexuals don't break away from the lgbt community because it takes a lot of inner strength to go through what you have gone through and that is an asset to the community and transsexuals, from what I know , are too small a group to fight alone.
@TheNolo73 Fight inside the family for what you deserve but don't deprive yourselves of the benefits you can get as part of this group.I always think before I speak and don't accept BS from the people around me and they are the same too. Keep putting your foot down, I will too.Peace!
you bring up a good point lgbt community is very hush hush about its own prejudices, racism and phobias. I guess they think people are buying that "we love everybody" mantra.
mama on video.....you are GAY mama no other classification fits you mama....if u sleep with men even if its only ones a year..u are gay mama love who u are and stop dividing to lgbt community and love your community....
i 100% agree with you. sexual orientation and gender identity has nothing to do with the other. while i love the gays, bisexuals, and lesbians, all that is sexual orientation. the only thing we have in common is the fact that we're a considered a minority.
.I feel you all the way..and chile most of these children don't understand a word you are saying...I always felt that I was a transexual but I decided not to put my body through the changes. However I do feel and act more like a woman than a man.. Men who identify as straight respect my femininity..The gays act as if I don't exist. 98 percent of my friends are straight. And amen for being attracted to women more than men cause they are ridiculous. I wish I wasn't so physically attracted to them.
Sorry but you really need to lighten up. It's ok to be sensitive. It's not ok to be so super serious about EVERYTHING. Get a sense of humor. Because there are $2 trannies out in the real world.
you are so right Chanel! as a feminine gay african American male, i understand the divide and derogatory things that are said about us. its sad that even within the LGBT family we have divides and segregations among us. I think your allowing yourself to to easily offended by a few narrow minded individuals. You gotta let this stuff roll off like water off a ducks back.
Don't be offended by what some gay men say. For the most part, I think they're just talking shit and don't mean anything by it. 9 times out of 10, gay men have much love and respect for trans people, regardless of whether we understand your struggle or not. I understand where you're coming from, but I think it's important for us to stick together in order to gain rights for all. There's strength in numbers.

i have said the same thing and feel the same way, that sometime girls transition just to get a man and all they really are is just a fem gay man who may look good as a woman, but their mind and spirit is not that of a woman, but just a fem man who wants str8 men.. just sad and pointless to go thru that just to get a man, and not even know or understand what out real and true struggle is about.. love this vid

@schildno5 I always gag black people too who say this is a white thing even in Africa the transexuals were the medicine men and the spirit teachers they were the holders of traditions and the midwives
@tssexychanel So true. Now the world wants to "cure" people. They'll be the first ones to say, "If somebody's gay it's ok with me... (which is fine) but trannies are just weird" yet talk to us when they think nobody's looking. And some, (not all) gay folk kill me with that "you're only different because you have breasts and curves, but you're still a man" b#llsh*t. I'm sorry. I refuse to be their entertainment just for the sake of some stupid Wednesday night drag show. Not now or ever.
Child, please! I laughed at that video. Do they think ALL trans people are worth $2.00? They forgot we initiated Stonewall (True story) but wanna use the T to feel like they're doing something for us, and try to be the face of trans & intersex people. It's sad to think that lots of LGB refuse to see us as multi faceted people like anybody else.
Often times people confuse sexuality, gender and orientation..3 different issues..yeap..you contend with people outside of the community as well as within...powerful address..yea when the roles get flipped around it's confusing..for example..you get hit on by gay men so often that you start thinking all men are gay including the "straight" ones..deep deep deep..love it ms t s sexy chanel
@tssexychanel ps i am beginning to think that transgender, transsexual, and tran identified should be pulled out from the "mainstream" lesbigay..Transgender also meaning perhaps even a straight person who doesn't align themselves with traditional gender values..many "sub-strates" from the community get displaced..without a net or home..there are different sets of behavioral codes, easy to confuse and we all dont experience the community or discrimination the same way..for sure..
I'm glade you re-addressed the topic Ms. Chanel :)
I thought about this difference between sexual orientation and self identity awhile back, and understand your statement. I think people refuse to accept individual differences, so it would only make sense, in some minds, to put all the "odds" together.
But everyone is made in their own unique cloth...we definitely need more compassion, and less ignorance.
@FitElady Thats why I only idendify as transexual its so true what you said people who don't understand us define us and have no real clue about us and its just what they did made the catagories gays, lesbians and other the umbrella transgender catagories includes everything from crossdressers to drag queens to transexuals this is a misindetfication for us
Transexuals,Gays,Hetero's etc all deserve respect simply because we are human. I do understand how you feel because had Eminem said "Dont look at me like im a two dollar nigger nigger" or "Fag Fag", all hell would break loose. Also we have to remember that sometimes you have to be tolerant of other people's ignorance and not deposit their opinions into our minds. You know as well as I do Chanel, that what he puts out there, he will most definately get back.
I'm sorry to see you upset. I'm constantly learning about this topic but here is my take:
This subject is very complex & although it is tempting to oversimplify, many gay women & men are also in a struggle with who they are. Their plight goes beyond "sex acts," it crosses over into the emotional; e.g; there are lesbians who have never had sex with a woman. Humans are judgmental, it's not a gay or straight thing. Being oppressed does not render one exempt from doing the same.
@TruthSerum101 I love you so much and your open mind. I totally agree with you. I don't expect people to understand my life it took me 15 plus years in therapy to understand myself. LOL Everybody understands sex cause its a physical thing not being see the internal turnmoil of the transperson people think we are just men with mental cases LOLI try to be understanding thats why I share my story here to educate people
Tranny is a confusing term because it can refer 2 transvestites & the transgendered. The labels overlap 2 some degree. There are also straight men/women who "cross-dress," the androgynous & the intersexed. Their issues R different but closely related because they share "nontraditional" gender struggles. Educate us about the differences between cross-dressers & transgendered, who R often mistaken 4 each other. R drag entertainers offended 2? I just learned about gender dysphoria this year.
@TruthSerum101 I will definately be doing some videos about True Transeuxulism and the history of transexualism because people would be shocked to find out all cultures since the beginning of time had trransexuals and until recently people revered transsexuals people saw them as something special magical or spiritual
Bravo, sis. The realities are NOT the same at all. Incidentally, I've always found it interesting that the "T"s are the ones who were the catalyst for the LGB movement, and yet we somehow got relegated to the back of the bus. Go figure.
@JahairasMission so true the girls were the ones who started the action at Stonewall yes now we are just tags on the end of everyone elses important issues. The gay community never gives a piece of the cake to us just a few of the crumbs left over. Gay peope accept us like most famiilies who accept that crazy cousin no one ever talks about. I want real respect not just to be tolerated. Especially from my brothers

Part 2
