A few hints. Most of the fire effects don't line up well with your hands and your hand moves and so should the fire, motion tracking can take care of that (AE has this built in). In a pinch, you can keyframe the motion manually, probably easier than motion track.
Your key opacities need adjustment. You can see edges. Flip gun blast 180 degrees. Big end comes out of barrel. Blast should last only 1-2 frames. Hope this helps.
