Hey Chesca! I joined Youtube just so I could make this comment (so if you make the vid don't forget my name is Sistah Rexy!)! I use a similar method to do my No-Band Lockhawk! Do a quick basket weave of the hair right in the front/middle. Then starting from the sides at the front, make a row of small lock knots going down the center of your head, all the way to the back. You can leave it like that or pull one side of the knots loose so you will have a funky fanned effect!

Its funny ...as you pulled your hair back @ 1:01, I thought that was sooo beautifully feminine only to hear you talk about your forehead. Pahlease you got a 2 head maybe a 2 point 5, but surely not a four lol

@MJONES416901 because i'm not a professional hairstylist, and i have long locs, i can really only show hairstyles that work on my hair. like i said in the video, if you hair isn't long enough, you can pin it. i also did another unisex tutorial that doesn't require long hair. it's just flat twists in the front. i hope that helps

Wow your locs are so beautiful and long. I have a question...have you ever had to trim your ends? I've heard somewhere that as locs get longer, you may have to trim them like you would regular hair so that it won't put weight on your head.
