Can one imagine Richard Armitage and Thandie Newton in a period drama???? Both of them have an intenseness about them. So in a repressed love period piece, that slowly, but wonderfully unfolds, until the end where their love for one another is fully known would be quite interesting. Another interesting actor would also include Matthew MacFayden. He also has an interesting "brooding" look which is seen in many period piece productions. Daniela would be interesting with MacFayden.
Another thing, Robin was only concern w/ his fame & affection from the villagers. I forgot which of the men mentioned this issue. Oh I forgot... R/M's relationship is more "ideal" which leaves no room for growth.
This vid is so beautiful and sad at the same time, this song fits perfect with them!! I prefer Robin with Marian, but this relationship Marian/Guy wasn't as bad as it could be...well, I won't include S2 finale :\ :\ so sad... thank you for this vid, is awesome!!! <3 <3

I've just recently found the BBC series Robin Hood and it made quite an impact. Not for the historical likelihood (because really? half of Marian's wardrobe was not historically accurate) but because of the cast. Robin & Marian seemed childhood sweethearts to me & they shared the same ideals. But there was just no chemistry there. I loved the depth RA brought to the Guy character...& of course the chemistry between Guy & Marian :)

I personally felt that they had more of a "relationship" vice hers w/ Robin... he was barely around her. I don't think the show ever properly address Marian's feelings on Guy, she cared for him. If the writers hadn't written Marian off, they could've explore Guy & Marian's relationship. That's open for speculation. Marian was vindictive towards Guy in the end :*(

@Lynn15 I agree but in this series I felt that the casting for Robin was poorly done and Richard to me out shined him. I have always been a fan of the Robin and Marian relationship in every Robin Hood series, movie, etc EXCEPT for this series. I could not warm up to Jonas Armstrong and I didn't think he had as much chemistry with Lucy Griffiths (Marian) as Richard did in my personal opinion. I don't feel I am "blinded" by Richard's handsomeness.

Insane editing! Better than half the stuff you see on commmercial TV. Loved the "snapshot" flash, gave it a crisp, slick feel. You knocked it out of the park! Thanks for posting!
And she was so much better! Leading him on continually! The bit in the forest in the second series said it all, when she decided to go for her plan of manipulating Guy rather than the straight forward one Robin had come up with.
lol, well its not like she didn't like him at all... and I'm sure she knew that if she was completely honest it would have meant her life... and that's exactly what happened. Not to say what she did was right, but Marian didn't exactly slaugher innocent people for private gain like Guy.
also, without Guy being interested in her she had little influence or power to protect her people. In a sense she gave up part of herself in order to help others... not such a terrible thing, even though I have to say what she said to him in the end was wrong.
She was the nightwatchmen as it was and was doing alright like that.

It's not suppose to be acurate in that way. You could say the same thing about a lot of the casts costumes such as Guy's leather outfit? Of course I wouldn't trade in the leather pants for anything!

Yes, it is a british tv series. It was on BBCA but they pulled it - saying that it failed to find an audience - I have been sending them emails - and Richard said he would ask them "Please" - he was way more polite than I would be. I will send another email soon. They know he is extremely popular that is why they used him for all their inside look and had him answer fan mail on BBCA. It is great!!!!
I am a recent addition to the Richard Armitage craze but I have to say that they did a great job in casting Marian. She is very beautiful but not fake looking. Very nice. I am a huge fan of the show.

Totally agree!! It was a mental idea to have him kill her off...especially when she was one of the lead roles. There was still loads of scope for storylines with her. Personally was hoping that for a time she'd get together with Guy...she definitely was stirred by him. Though I understand at the end it was always Robin who'd be on the winning side.

This video was made before the season finale. HeathRA had no idea that Guy was going to kill Marian. And even Mr. RA himself has said that he's not crazy about the ending, but hey, he's didn't write the darn show. It's not the fan's fault that the producers of this show opted for a sucky ending! ;-)
At first I cried loads and gave out about it for weeks to everyone that would listen. Think it was crazy idea. Like without Marian Robin is just a good samaritan in the forest...and as for Guy well he's going to be one depressed, brooding, sex god...

It's not suppose to be acurate in that way. You could say the same thing about a lot of the casts costumes such as Guy's leather outfit? Of course I wouldn't trade in the leather pants for anything!

Yes, it is a british tv series. It was on BBCA but they pulled it - saying that it failed to find an audience - I have been sending them emails - and Richard said he would ask them "Please" - he was way more polite than I would be. I will send another email soon. They know he is extremely popular that is why they used him for all their inside look and had him answer fan mail on BBCA. It is great!!!!

I am a recent addition to the Richard Armitage craze but I have to say that they did a great job in casting Marian. She is very beautiful but not fake looking. Very nice. I am a huge fan of the show.

I just watched this video again for what must be the 8th time. You did such a great job with the fast editing and the flashes and effects to the scenes and it keeps me guessing every time I see it.

Totally agree!! It was a mental idea to have him kill her off...especially when she was one of the lead roles. There was still loads of scope for storylines with her. Personally was hoping that for a time she'd get together with Guy...she definitely was stirred by him. Though I understand at the end it was always Robin who'd be on the winning side.

This video was made before the season finale. HeathRA had no idea that Guy was going to kill Marian. And even Mr. RA himself has said that he's not crazy about the ending, but hey, he's didn't write the darn show. It's not the fan's fault that the producers of this show opted for a sucky ending! ;-)

through torrent sites where you can download them onto your computer. Or use a DVD and to get the DVD onto your computer you have to use a DVD Decrypter. Do a google search there is tons of stuff online to help you out.
