Great song. I loved this game when I first played it. Snake was a legend but they could have made Big Boss coming back a bit more clearer and more logical but oh well.

All the games happen in the future from when they are created (except MGS3.) MGS1 was set 7 years after the game was created, MGS2 6 and 8 years this one was 6 years.

This was the best ending they could have had for these two characters. It's a sad that BB couldn't have lived too though, they were both snakes that could have spent their last days as men. Snake was created as a mistake of the world, BB became a mistake. Both were shadows of the past who could have both become more.

He spent fifteen years doing nothing but on the verge of death, only to come back to life and health for the sake of a sudden death. What I meant is why he could not have had a few more years to find an escape from the long life he had lived. I wasn't saying Snake wouldn't have become more than a snake.

Well, the reason Big Boss couldn't do all of that is because he himself is a "zero", along with Major Zero. He founded the Outer Heaven non-ideology. In order to give future generations a chance, he needs to go "back to zero" as well.

He doesn't seem to care. He realized his terrible mistakes, and the legacy of those mistakes (Liquid/Solidus/Ocelot.) He's just happy that his son, Solid Snake, did what he was trying to do (in the wrong way) all along; to fulfill the Boss' will.

MGS: Rising = The rising of Raiden as a cyborg ninja, like Gray Fox (Frank Jagger), so he can kill Vamp and protect the others.
