@MrDuka42 There's a pattern that you must follow based on the tiles on the floor. It's like a maze. To help you, draw a plan of the floor tiles on a sheet of paper and try different paths by trial and error until you find the correct one.

The game had no precedent for mind riddles like this in any of the other levels, so one wouldn't guess that there would be one now. The closest I got to figuring it out was that I thought the turrets were motion activated, and I thought the key was to move slowly enough for them to not be triggered. :-p

I always wonder; how were you supposed to figure out that there was a code in the tiles in the room with the Golden Gun without getting tipped off by someone else, or the internet? They expect us to be that smart? Were there any hints to it in the mission briefing or anything? I remember I for one tried for several days to get the gun without success until I was told by a friend about the sequential code in the tiles.

@HashRash87 I remember how I did it. At first I tried running across but then it closed, I tried that for about 1 week. Then I got Turbo Mode on and it still didn't work. Then I stepped to the left and it didn't close. It took me about 3 days but I got the code in the tiles and now it's one of the easiest levels.

So reminds me of the time when I had to solve the darn puzzle to get the golden gun years ago. I drew a map on a sheet of paper, which I still have by the way. It took trial and error to find the right floors to step on. After all that, I was able to get the golden gun at the end.

Reminds of the time when my brother couldn't be the stage cuz of traps that set up to prevent him to get the golden gun. All I had to do is get paper and pencil and draw the tiles that are okay to step or not okay. After getting closer and closer, I finally got that golden gun.

Goldeneye is the best game I ever played! If only they could add that Nintendo Wii or any system.

You need to walk in a certain order on the tiles. If you step on a wrong tile, the drone guns will come out. Once the drone guns are out, the golden gun becomes impossible to get. I finally got it like 2 days ago. Check your inbox, I'll send you a link to a video that tells you how to get it.
