Is there a way to get the song to fade in or out? Or is that the limit to the ringtone capabilities for iTunes? Better yet, can the newly made ringtone be treated as an mp3 and run through other ringtone making applications?
This is awesome...thanks!!!!! i cant believe 1 guy didnt like it...problably is a rich bastard that got tons of money to spend on ringtones...THANKS :)
for some reason, when i plug my droid into my laptop my notification bar only gives me the option to mount, not do the charge only, or disk drive. i looked at your phone, it says "charge only" mine says "usb connected".. i did everything else in your video up to dragging the songs into the "ringtone folder" and unpluggin my phone. when i look in my phone for the ringtones, i got the same bunk factory ones : (( CAN SOMEONE PLZZZZZ HELP , LOL. Peace
@hushermania: Hi, I made my ringtones for my Droid Incredible. I can assign them and they ring, but when I call my cell from my home phone. I get the default ringtone. Both of my "drives" have Android files. One drive has a media file and the other doesn't. Help!
Dude I just got my HTC incredible about a month ago. It is simply an amazing phone, I love it more than my computer!!! I have a couple questions for you though. What kind of battery are you using? I'm using the 1750 Seido Innocell battery and it basically doubled my phone's battery life. Also, do you know if the phone will be compatible with the usb to hdmi cable?
@huskermania Huskermania, I've got an Android phone too and I've always wanted custom ring tones too, but in my opinion there is a simpler solution. On the market there should be an app called "RingDroid" which lets you edit music on your phone and turn them into ring tones. Which makes this whole ring tone thing kinda pointless. Well i guess its just personal preference, I from your PC you can edit music so i guess this way is still viable. :D
@ShakeAndBakeGuy Starting tomorrow, it will. I use Adobe CS4 Production Premium on the Mac, and I should be getting CS5 Production Premium tomorrow for the PC. I'll be able to transfer the work load between machines pretty easily depending on how complex the video structure is.
thx
