We had a problem with people parking side ways across three stalls when was I in school. So when we were out we would find those cars and park in front and in back of them so they couldn't leave until we were done with what we were up to.

I drive a nice car (not a lambo) and I park at an end space at the back of the lot wherever I go. If there's not a free "end spot" I'll park by a motorcycle or between two spaces (like the guy in the video). It's not about protecting it from scratches. It's about protecting it from obese/ignorant people. If the maker of this video parked beside that car and opened his door into it, I highly doubt he would stick around or leave a note. Who are you? (Hint...stay out of restaurants) Also, I have friends, family, etc. who envy my clothes, furniture, etc. I buy about 80% at thrift stores and fix them up as I like. Spend your money on classes. Learn to cook, to tailor clothes, to refinish furniture, etc. THAT is money WELL-spent. Use coupons. NEVER buy what U don't NEED! 'Splurge' on organics tho.

I encounter a similar parking job last summer. The asshole not only parked directly over the line but also parked far too forward so no one could use a third parking space which was for HANDICAPPED parking.

I work for a parking company and when people double park I call a tow truck to move it into proper parking for a nice price of 200 dollars plus a 40 dollar obstruction fine :P

And I do know how frustrating it is to have unexplained car damage, someone sideswiped my parked car and dented both doors and took off the mirror and didn't leave a note, nor did anyone from the surrounding houses take note even though it would've been noisy as hell!
The reason I say this is because I myself drive an Audi, it is fucking annoying to see people banging doors against another car OR causing a major damage to the car, without leaving a note with their details or at least apologizing.

Back in the olden days before everyone had key fobs that unlocked the cars, you could break wooden toothpicks off in the door locks of assholes like that. Get back to their car and they can't get in. Now the best you can do is use a razor blade to slice a hole in the weather stripping against the side windows, then pee on the glass and watch it run down inside the door. They'll never figure out why their car smells like piss on hot days.

The way he parks his car has nothing to do with the value of it. He's just protecting himself againts people who are not as carefully as he is. A car which cost 10000$ can have the value of a 100000$ car for the owner.

I work for a parking company and when people double park I call a tow truck to move it into proper parking for a nice price of 200 dollars plus a 40 dollar obstruction fine :P
I know us parking patrolmen are known to be dicks but it's fun to get these rich ass fucks that think they can avoid simple rules.

I once had to park next to a guy like this cause it was the only space left in the lot and t hen he left and it made me look like an asshole. Probably how I got the key line all the way down my car. Something tells me that based on the car this person is driving it was most likely legit but things aren't always as they appear.

Keying someones car isn't cool, my first car got keyed once for no damn good reason and you feel like your heart has been cut out, i imagine the feeling is only a little less so when you park like a dick, the punishment isn't proportional. But definitely inform someone and maybe get them clamped!

And I do know how frustrating it is to have unexplained car damage, someone sideswiped my parked car and dented both doors and took off the mirror and didn't leave a note, nor did anyone from the surrounding houses take note even though it would've been noisy as hell!

The reason I say this is because I myself drive an Audi, it is fucking annoying to see people banging doors against another car OR causing a major damage to the car, without leaving a note with their details or at least apologizing.
Do you have any idea on how much it costs to repair a car like that?

Back in the olden days before everyone had key fobs that unlocked the cars, you could break wooden toothpicks off in the door locks of assholes like that. Get back to their car and they can't get in. Now the best you can do is use a razor blade to slice a hole in the weather stripping against the side windows, then pee on the glass and watch it run down inside the door. They'll never figure out why their car smells like piss on hot days.
