Wonderful sound. I agree with "poutitechatte". George Mitchell was a fine cornet player and is still one of my favourites today.What more can you say about Dodds - the master of classic jazz, as was George Lewis for early New Orleans music.
The purest New Orleans style, with my preferred cornettist and Stomp Evans on alto saxophone who died two years later. More over, Johnny Dodds at the top of its art.

The alto sax is reputed to be Joe Clark not Stump Evans
