  • Real moonshine is illegal to make...

  • so this is how hooch is made. most moonshine is still made in the woods and is illegal.

  • I thought moonshine was illegal

  • @RabbidStickMan it is illegal but this is a commercial op. illegal ops get shutdown in 15 days of the hooch (moonshine) being made

  • YEAST INFECTIONS :D

  • Talk aboot a stiff drink!

  • You can smell the whisky burnin' down Copperhead Road!

  • Moonshine isnt aged.....

  • i'm underage and DRUNK!!! lOl

  • @F9000LIi I remember my first beer...

  • @F9000LIi and you will die young lol

  • 50% is like nothing in Norway... We have 96%.

  • They shoulda had Popcorn Sutton narroratin'

  • But what will we call it?

    ...Glug

  • already knew this.....

  • thumbs up if you saw the brewmaster on an episode of moonshiners.

  • check out popcorn sutton and how he makes moonshine like they did centuries ago its on youtube

  • is the old guy with the hat the only person who works there

  • How it's made! A redneck and hillbilly special!

  • they should have had a true redneck narrate this

  • 2 years for whisky holy shit lmfao

  • McKaamos is quite right, I have had approximately 95% alcohol, home brewed. It kills your balance and quite a few braincells, but not your vision.

The greatest danger aside from the usual that is, with that consentration lies in alcohol poisoning, which can happen with all alcohol beverages but is far easier to achieve with alcohol that close to gas state.

A matter of less volume to consume for the same effect.

  • @Nicmadis That probably burned quite bad in your throat :P the great danger in moonshine lies in the fact that you can easilly make methyl alcohol, wich is poisonous. It destroys the liver, brain, eyes, nerves and can cause death. Badly made moonshine is a killer. As long as it's pure ethyl alcohol, it's exactly what you describe. Aside from heavy intoxication, it is just as safe as storebought liquor.

  • @McKaamos Burned indeed. I don't drink that stuff anymore, seems to cause damage to memory, specifically that of the night you drink it.

  • Thats whisky.

  • @Vesivian Thats the legal way to make moonshine the illeagel way that your thinking about is quite simple and alot cheaper then this shit. I still run a still

  • moonshine sounded like skyrim

  • Why not let it 80% ? =))

  • @ForgottenKnight1 may be there is a good resone. I do not know wich one can it be.

  • @ForgottenKnight1 on the first shot you'll start feeling sleepy and getting blurry vision until you wake up in a hospital getting your stomach drained and possibly blind. It's not safe to drink beyond 50%.

  • @luciferiexcelsil Didn't know that ! Now I understand.

  • @luciferiexcelsil Not true. Harmfull effects of ehtyl alcohol do not come from the percentage, but from the total amount you drink and in what time span you drink that amount. A couple of six-packs of beer contain the same amount of alcohol of one full glass of 70% liquor. You don't see people falling over and dying after two glasses of whiskey... Blindness is only caused by methyl alcohol btw. The stuff you clean things with or use as fuel for a stove. Thats unfit to drink.

  • @McKaamos Well I'm referring to moonshine. I've seen it happen that's why I say it. Spirits of 80 would more likely make you pass out. It's not the same drinking 6 beers over a span of an hour than drinking the same amount in a single cup on 10 minutes per say.

  • @luciferiexcelsil Moonshine or any other stiff drink doesn't matter, as long as it's pure ethyl alcohol. What you are referring to is "dirty" moonshine. If you get the process wrong, you are making methyl alcohol, wich is poisonous and can cause death. If you make moonshine the right way, it is no different than any other stiff drink. Moonshine has nothing to do with purity of the alchol, it just refers to it being illegal and used to be made at night. Hence the name moonshine

  • TWO YEARS !?!?

  • Nelson Van Alden and 4 of his Prohies disliked this video.

  • I've never seen so many experts on moonshine, who do not actually have experience making it.

  • WOOD?

  • ah the traditional way of making moonshine... automated hammers

  • Myth created by propagandists....fuck the gov!

  • If you heat the mash to fast it will create methanol instead of ethanol witch can cause brain damage and vision loss

  • Moonshine can't really make you go blind, can it? That sounds like such a myth.

  • @ninjajesus81 Also, some stills were made using old auto radiators and other parts with chemical residues. A similar reason exists for legends about absinthe driving the drinker mad; companies producing cheap knockoffs had no idea that steeping the distillate in herbs gave it the mysterious green color (from chlorophyll) so they'd put copper chloride into theirs.

  • Real Moonshine is 180 proof!

  • big teabag XD

  • How the heck did "How it's made: MOONSHINE" turn into "How it's made: WHISKY"

  • ha moonshine is still made rofl at centuries

  • holy shit 80% alcohol man!

  • nector of "outlaws"

  • fuck all you pussy's

  • tbag XD

  • the other narrator probably drunk off moonshine

  • I looovee popcorn, thx science channel! Do more stuff about popcorn plz.

  • THAT AIN'T SHINE!!! That is some commercial something. Moonshine is enjoyed right off the condenser. You age it two years it's corn bourbon?...I am sure your booze is good but it ain't moonshine. If you distill on the corn meal, do you use steam or fire. Corn meal scorches real easy and ruins the flavor.

  • ahhhh pure (sorta) 'shine. Yeeeehaw!!

  • aboot ?is this woman canadian? lol

  • Lol at 2:39 "tebag" lol.Wisky got teabaged XD.

  • Thumbs up if you also saw how they made popcorn today. I will never look at popcorn the same way again.

  • @DJTripleThreat78 whats wrong with the popcorn O_O ima go check it out.

  • SAME DAM COMMERICAL OVER N OVER>>>WTF UTUBE

  • Maybe one day we can have this kind of thing for weed, without the scary music.

  • Oh, Virginia <3 the one thing youre good at

  • the nisssan commercial is extremely gay.

  • Thats wiskey, not moonshine. Theres a big diffrence. For true moonshine you let it ferment naturally ( makes it taste smoother ) but takes a lot longer. Then when the batch is ready to be run, after the boil you "Do not add water".

  • @Nighthawk368 actually you are kinda rite, except you dont boil your mash to make moonshine, if you boil it, you will have alcohol mixed with distilled water, 172 to 185 degrees is perfect for moonshine, you just want it to evaporate, not boil.

  • Holy freffin sh*t! I did not know that yeast turns sugar into achocol in a matter of 4 days at 1:45!

  • nice but I think they really need to drink it without mixing it with water
