Good vid Glock..Yes this review was factual and true..I got a hell of a deal on a 250gb with 2 games for 250..A steal..You must load all your games from disc to the hdd or the noise will want you to drop kick it..The oppurtunity MS gives you to drop your game on hdd is a great feature. Wireless on 360 slims is better then PS3 which uses G wireless..360 uses all up to wireless N. Great wireless. Xbox live other then Pchat and x game chat is what gives it the edge. Online play is equal.

The ps3 graphics card is equivalent to a 7800gt(dinosaur) and the xbox 360 video card is not much better. There is no possible way a console can beat a pc's graphics potential with dinosaur video cards even at launch.

@GlockNinja You pay for a higher upfront cost on a pc, and save in the future in the long run with cheaper games. Consoles have the advantage of cheaper lan gaming or local multiplayer, however you also have disadvantages like low fps and controllers are awful for fps games.
Console gaming impacts pc gaming because the limitations of the console impacts the quality of game design and also its target demographic with multiplatform games. Consoles are old and the quality of gaming is stagnant.
@ASCII808 Not all PC games are cheaper. And not all PC games run smooth with higher frame rates. Just because PC has the capabilities, does not mean it actually utilizes those capabilities. I've played some games on the PC that lag, drop frame rates, and crash all the time. Its a combination of things that make a game run good or crappy and it can't be all blamed on PC hardware or Console Hardware. The Blame goes to the lazy developers who try to let the hardware do all the work.
@GlockNinja Developers have no incentive to make good multi-platform games for Pc because they design their games for the lowest common denominator; consoles. Developers that develop for the console have bigger limitations than for the pc. Some of these limitations include;
low amount of memory- limits the map size leads to smaller levels.
subpar video cards- lower res textures, less draw distance, lack of aa, af.

In fact because a game is only sold on one console, it should not sell as much as a multiplat which sells on more than one console. Developers who make exclusive games know this and most of them are subsidized by the console makers. Thats a win win for the console owner. It gives console owners more options and variety.

the ps2 had an estimated 150 online games another 150 local network LAN enabled game, it was a great console.

What bothers me is the fact that PS3 has all of these online features and more, but the sentiment is "PS3/PSN doesn't have that much". But then when the XBOX gets some of these new features, some of which the PS3 has had for years, the sentiment changes to "oooh, look what the XBOX 360 has just recieved...it's awesome!"

PSN has a browser that can traverse the internet and get tons of legal and possibly illegal content, including free Porn. I myself, for example, have every episode of True Blood and Dexter downloaded to my PS3's harddrive, and I don't even have Showtime or HBO.
Like I said, The PS3 browser enables downloading of various content, such as movies, TV shows, music, porn, ect.....some legal....some illegal. With this browser, You can download these straight to the PS3's harddrive so that I can watch on my TV.

@GlockNinja PSP sucked. I had one and sold it. But PS vita looks good. PSP sucked because there were not that many good games because of piracy - Developers stopped making good games for it. Hopefully this doesn't happen with the Vita.
Not to mention, you WONT be able to play the PS3 games on the PS Vita. The videos you've been seeing are of a hacked firmware, which "knowing Sony" will have resolved this issue by the time Vita is out.

Let me put it like this. If that was the case and they would have unlocked it in a future firmware release.... It would have been unlocked for the PSP since it's the same feature. this is my opinion about the whole ps3 vs xbox360. i'll say this i think most of the xbox owners have built up a relationship with there friends and that's why they stick with it so strongly like me i have a lot of friends that remain very social day in and day out and when i bought ps3 about 10 months ago i found it very unsocial and the trophies unappealing but i wasnt in my element maybe if i had a relationship with ppl since ps2 i would see it another way like they say ppl are afraidofchange

@GlockNinja I remember when I had my fist 360 and that the Silver service allowed one to play online but only in pickup matches you couldn't play with friends etc. But now they have taken the whole online playing part out of the silver service. It seams thats what they planned. Get people hooked on the online play with the silver service when it first came out then change it to gold service only a year after release knowing it will force those hooked on online play to pay.

Good vid Glock..Yes this review was factual and true..I got a hell of a deal on a 250gb with 2 games for 250..A steal..You must load all your games from disc to the hdd or the noise will want you to drop kick it..The oppurtunity MS gives you to drop your game on hdd is a great feature. Wireless on 360 slims is better then PS3 which uses G wireless..360 uses all up to wireless N. Great wireless. Xbox live other then Pchat and x game chat is what gives it the edge. @GlockNinja You pay for a higher upfront cost on a pc, and save in the future in the long run with cheaper games. Consoles have the advantage of cheaper lan gaming or local multiplayer, however you also have disadvantages like low fps and controllers are awful for fps games.
Console gaming impacts pc gaming because the limitations of the console impacts the quality of game design and also its target demographic with multiplatform games. Consoles are old and the quality of gaming is stagnant.

@ASCII808 Not all PC games are cheaper. And not all PC games run smooth with higher frame rates. Just because PC has the capabilities, does not mean it actually utilizes those capabilities. I've played some games on the PC that lag, drop frame rates, and crash all the time. Its a combination of things that make a game run good or crappy and it can't be all blamed on PC hardware or Console Hardware. The Blame goes to the lazy developers who try to let the hardware do all the work.

low amount of memory- limits the map size leads to smaller levels.

storage- most games still load off cds.

PSN has a browser that can traverse the internet and get tons of legal and possibly illegal content, including free Porn. I myself, for example, have every episode of True Blood and Dexter downloaded to my PS3's harddrive, and I don't even have Showtime or HBO.

Like I said, The PS3 browser enables downloading of various content, such as movies, TV shows, music, porn, ect.....some legal....some illegal. With this browser, You can download these straight to the PS3's harddrive so that I can watch on my TV.
What you call a 'POS', I call a MARVELOUS TOOLSET.

You know what bothers me the most? The fact that PSN has many different online features, apps and services that people just discount as if they don't exist on the PS3.
For example, PSN has DIRECT TV....PSN has MLB...PSN has NHL....PSN recieved YOUTUBE and HULU first....PSN has Netflix...PSN has VUDU, LOVEFILM, BBC, VidZone, MUBI, and other movie and Television services....PSN has Twitter, Facebook.....

Hey Glock just Create another Free GT and MS will give you free gold for another month for that other GT when it's created. They will do that just a few times - don't remember how many times they will give you free gold though.

@cpucrash0 Honestly? No. Only because after buying the PSP years ago, I really didn't get much play out of the PSP. I am not a big portable gaming fan. Not enough to spend the over $200 price. Maybe later when the price comes down.

@GlockNinja PSP sucked. I had one and sold it. But PS vita looks good. PSP sucked because there were not that many good games because of piracy - Developers stopped making good games for it. Hopefully this doesn't happen with the Vita.

Not to mention, you WONT be able to play the PS3 games on the PS Vita. The videos you've been seeing are of a hacked firmware, which "knowing Sony" will have resolved this issue by the time Vita is out.

Let me put it like this. If that was the case and they would have unlocked it in a future firmware release.... It would have been unlocked for the PSP since it's the same feature. All I'm saying is, don't go into getting a Vita with your hopes all high like we all did with the PS3's outlandish claims and the Xbox's No-Exclusive-Kinect-4-Life Asses.

just like your 1080x2 outlandish claims by sony, or all games in 1080p by sony? not even uncharted3 is 1080p.
heck games like fifa street homecourt are 1080p on 360 and 720p on ps3, not to mention the huge difference in the psn community with almost all mutes.
how about "basic communication features" that the sony president promised? i guess a simple voice message too advanced for a ps3 right?

this is my opinion about the whole ps3 vs xbox360. i'll say this i think most of the xbox owners have built up a relationship with there friends and that's why they stick with it so strongly like me i have a lot of friends that remain very social day in and day out and when i bought ps3 about 10 months ago i found it very unsocial and the trophies unappealing but i wasnt in my element maybe if i had a relationship with ppl since ps2 i would see it another way like they say ppl are afraidofchange

@UNDEFEA73D I totally agree. Most people who buy the Xbox 360 is because of perception that everybody else has it. And most importantly, their friends have it. And if you care more about the social aspect and not just gaming, then the Xbox 360 is a good choice. I agree with you.

@GlockNinja I remember when I had my fist 360 and that the Silver service allowed one to play online but only in pickup matches you couldn't play with friends etc. But now they have taken the whole online playing part out of the silver service. It seams thats what they planned. Get people hooked on the online play with the silver service when it first came out then change it to gold service only a year after release knowing it will force those hooked on online play to pay.
