  • lucky celtis folk. iv only got Russian, Ukraine, Swiss, Austrian, and Blackfoot Indian in my blood. i dont have anything as beautiful and enchanting as you irish, welsh, english, and scottish have

  • I'm Irish, French, and English all mixed together. So I get to visit three beautiful countries before I die. Simply wonderful :)

  • So utterly beautiful...

  • boycott you tube ads

  • Funny theres all this irish sentimentalism (not that Irelands not nice) using an English song.

  • THIS IS LOVELY...MÉAV NI MHAOLCHATHA...OF IRELAND.

NONE OTHER CAN SING AS BEAUTIFULLY AS OUR IRISH CELTIC SONGBIRD.

LISTEN TO ALL OF HER SONGS...THEY ARE LOVELY.

  • Awesome voice! Thanks!

  • i have always loved this song. i found out that my uncle loved this song as well, unfortunately he died before i was born. so whenever i hear this song, i feel so sad that i never met him. but i will always listen to this song forever more.

  • i always loved Celtic Woman <3

  • My great-grandmother used to sing this song for me and my brother when i was very young. Now i am 16 years old, and i always cry when i play this song with my shamisen. Rest in peace, sweet Elizabeth.

  • I'm from australia and can not wait to get out and see Ireland and England!

It looks so beautiful, & this song & music is so amazing!

Its so calming and sweet, I know this may sound weird but my dog and cat, especially my Cat, loves this song!

  • @katieee14ist Your cat loves soothing peaceful music. Makes purrrfect sense to me!

  • i didint thought that thosse kinde of bridges is still today i thought they were destroy so people could build thos ugly concrete bridges. i must see that bridge !!!!

  • So many are in awe of the beauty of this song that it is neglected that this is a song of pain also. He loved her and gave her all he could and still he lost her and she would never love him.

So imo there should be some element of pain in the singing and this is not only a comforting song...its a song about love and loss...and this version has those elements of beauty and pain imo ... beautifully done

  • I'd love to get out of this hell hole im in and move to a place like the ones in the pictures

  • Beautifully done. Meav has an awesome voice! Thanks for the upload!

  • it's nice to hear this done with real historical performers!

  • I'm a Glenn.

  • irisheness rocks. even scarbough fair

    ;D

  • I stand corrected I need to go over my geography again apparently before I open my mouth!

  • Ireland, England , Scotland, who cares all the same island and wonderful pics and music! Enjoy without any negatives!++++++++

  • @cwhedon Actually, Ireland is a different island, just to the west of the one that contains England, Scotland and Wales.

  • Anne Boleyn in a nutshell.

  • This song predates Henry the 8th.

  • I am lucky to live in Ireland!

  • I have been to Ireland last summer, and I love how she sang this... Reminds me of it already..

  • Beautiful song and images! And sung by an angel too!

  • I like this version better than What Child Is This?.

  • ironically, The king who wrote this song, Henry the Eight, did in fact recieve an arrow to the knee!.

  • @99percentONPOINT Henry the eight wrote this about Anne Boleyn...

  • song is actually English

  • This is the best song I've ever heard..it is beautiful :D

  • Who makes a song about green sleaves

  • Her voice is simply AMAZING!!! BEAUTIFUL!!! BEYOND amazing and beautiful! I have no words to describe how much I love her voice!

  • Irland,what a magic land!

  • SCREW IT! THIS AMERICAN IS GOING BACK TO HER CELTIC HOMELAND!!!!

  • Beautiful!

  • We spend a livetime looking for Heaven... we watch movies and beautiful landscapes and wish we could be there.

When the Heaven we want is right here, with us, and its called Earth. To bad we always want what we don't have and spoil what we have.

  • What a beautiful voice!

  • This is by far the best music to get a little stoned to. It truly removes one from the present realm and sends them drifting through time.

  • I love Meav and I loved her in Celtic Woman. She's my favorite Irish singer and I'm 100 percent Australian.

  • So very beautiful. Im part Irish, not much really, but I take pride in the Irish blood that runs through me. I pray one day I can see Ireland in person and bask in it's beauty.

  • beautiful Ireland <3

  • this makes my Irish blood dance

  • Beautiful voice for a beautiful song.

  • i've considered dropping everything in the US and moving to ireland because of pics like these

  • @tsadler09 Celtics are scottish.

  • Pretty!

  • No soul

  • Very good

    thanks

    Cmn

  • I'm going to Ireland it looks like!

  • Exelente, que relajante

  • like it what an angelc song my mom used to sing me this song when am child (-T^T-

  • Wow! Beautiful!

  • Love, love, love this song! I actually have this on a music box that my mom made when I was a toddler!

  • The pacing sounds strange, but I know there are about as many different renditions of Greensleeves as there are stars in the sky. Meav is beautiful, as always, but I can't say I love this version of it.

  • After so long with Celtic Woman I can't help wishing that we could see Meav singing this outdoors on a stage with back-up singers, an orchestra and Mairead Nesbitt playing in the background. It would be awesome....

  • @voimaapina what r u emo or somethin?!?

  • Just saying, but Méav sung this independently from Celtic Woman, it's on her solo album "A Celtic Journey" :) Celtic woman doesn't really have anything to do with it...

  • @voimaapina In the sense that it's too good for you to hear? LOL

Anyways, I think this is the best rendition of this song :)

  • Makes me think of being a medieval knight rescuing fair maidens.

  • Great!

  • best vocal ever (even is the soundback is not that great)

  • ah i love this song :) the landscapes are nothing but gorgeous :) i am now so yearning to take a trip to my homeland :)

  • my home! with a beautiful voice! i'm tearing with joy thankyou for this amazing glimps of my home country.

  • I never realised this song had quite so many lyrics.

  • Méav is a Celtic goddess

  • Gives me goosebumps...

    :)

  • Oh my goodness, I had no idea that Celtic Woman did Green Sleeves. This is lovely.

Nice to hear Meav as well :) she has a beautiful voice.

  • So beautiful~

  • this is my all time favorite song i really love the pics in this video

  • Excellent, this song brings me to my next life.

I want to die and be reborn to be part of these beautiful landscapes.

  • Thanks for the comment! The pictures are all from Ireland.

  • @Avostal The very best of this song I have ever heard, along with such beautiful photos. I do believe Henry would be proud of his song if he could hear this. Thank you for the upload. It is now saved as a favorite.

  • @Avostal Travelling to Ireland, maybe living there for some time, is a lifetime dream. :)
