This looks like a pretty good recipe, however, there are a few things I think you should try.
-Bread crumbs instead of stuffing
-Tomato sauce (half can in mix, half can on top)
-Brown Sugar, helps caramelize the meat
-Worcestershire sauce
Also, i think the oil on the bottom is unnecessary, generally there is plenty of excess grease in the pan from the hamburger.
