  • I found it! I found my ring!

  • It's so rare that DeBeer's probably has hundreds of thousands of them in their warehouse.

  • lets forget about the millions of people dying or starvation, drought, disease and even exploitation the world over. its probably a very good idea for some person to invest 38000 000 on a stone.

dont get me wrong, the stone is beautiful, i just think the world is a little backwards.

  • @u9p87 Who says they don't donate millions of dollar to dying and starving people too? It's their money let them do what they want, just because they enjoy luxuries DOES NOT make them bad people.

  • @avaiae maybe you have read my comment (from 1 month ago) and completely took no notice, or at least took no time to think about the situation. not once did i mention anything about anyone being bad, nor did i mention anything about donating money.

I was more inclined to emphasise a point about how materialistic the world is. people are become increasingly more interested about the new iphone, macbook, iphone app etc; but the interest in helping others is like a fart in the wind.

  • @u9p87 No you did not mention that the people were bad, but it was obviously implied. You implied that people would rather put 38 million dollars in a stone than help people in Somalia or Nigeria etc... But I'm just tired of people looking down on others when they buy something for themselves, why is this so bad? My father donates something like 100,000 dollars a year to charities or people in need, but people looked down on him when he spent 300 dollars a phone (just an example).

  • @avaiae ok, so now your playing the game of "its not what you said, its what you haven't said".

to be honest, Im not interested in the slightest of how much your father pays to charity.

i find it much more honourable for a person to physically offer a helping hand to someone in need, than i do for a millionaire to donate 100000 dollars. its what i call cheap talk, its easy when you've got it.

just because someone invests in charity, it does not automatically make them a good person.

  • @u9p87 1st- Yes it is a game apparently, because I'm pretty sure it's what you meant. If it wasn't, then what did you mean? I may have been mistaken, but I doubt it.

2nd- I was referencing my father so that you could have a physical example, it adds evidence to the argument.

3rd- Yes, it may be easy, but how many people do it? Also, my town (Joplin, Missouri, USA) was hit by a very large and powerful tornado and my dad went and helped people find missing items and pick up the pieces. (continued)

  • @u9p87 (continued) He did it because he wanted to and volunteered himself, he gained nothing and in fact risked being struck by lightning or large hail seeing as more severe storms passed through the area during the 2 days following.

4th- I agree, investing in charity does not make you a good person, but it does how ever make you better than those who do have money and do not donate when given the opportunity.

  • @avaiae oh ok. you have got to be the biggest bullshitter i have ever encountered on youtube.

  • @u9p87 Why?

  • @u9p87 hey buddy, take your fucking bullshit somehwere where people give a fuck!

  • @DOMMYO hey buddy, go fuck yourself, this is youtube. if you haven't realised, youtube give many people a voice.

just because those opinions don't coincide with yours, it doesn't mean that people have to shut up.

so why don't you make your mother proud and go suck farts from your own ass.

  • @u9p87 You haven't a clue, have you. The money spent on this diamond will go to the seller. The seller will invest it in funds, buy homes, yachts, cars, more diamonds, gold, luxury goods... so keeping other folks in employment, and the money will trickle down to the low levels of society. The diamond itself is just a transfer of figures on a bank screen.

  • @ytrogergt this is why people like you will never have money. before you start ranting on about how i have judged you; from what you have just explained, it is enough information to make judgments.

in short hand: its the guys at the bottom end of the chain that fuel the economy, not a rich guys one off investment.

  • @ytrogergt that would be a good analogy, but rich people are greedy & spend their money on themselves!

  • @Pamelina1111 ..... You don't understand! Perhaps the rich end up with the physical result of their spendings, but that physical result is manufactured/produced bt workers who are paid with the rich man's money. So Long Live Luxury, I say.

  • @ytrogergt I can agree with that. Just wish they'd help more....

  • HOT

  • But... will it blend????

  • For $34,000,000 dollars? OMG! i can feed all the unfortunate people out there most specially the children.

  • @pogpog28 Who's saying the buyer doesn't donate 50 million dollar to starving people every year, but he/she just like luxuries as well?
