They need alternate characters. Press R while selecting a character with an alternate, switch to that alternate. (Such as: Mario. Press R on him to switch to Paper Mario, after you unlock Paper Mario, of course. Make Paper Peach, Bowser, and Luigi.) They could do that for Samus(Zero Suit Samus as an Alternate) and Pokemon Trainer(A Pokemon Rival with Johto Starters as an alternate)

Pretty much no information has been given, not even a title. My guess is something like Super Smash Bros. Finale(if it ends up being the last one) or something like Super Smash Bros. Arena

That's right, it's a long progress to get these special third party characters in the game. They would have to discuss with the companies that own the characters. The only reason Sonic was in was because Nintendo and Sega work together now. If it was back then when Nintendo and Sega were the toughest enemies in the world, Sega would have sued Nintendos ass.

Just remember that Snake made it in primarily because the creator kept trying to get him in to Melee, originally. But when they finally agreed, the game was already prepped for release, pretty much. Let's not outsource too much past Konami. The Seven Stars crew would be a good concept. Not sure about Birdo, since they tried to pull away from clones, yet Toon Link is actually quite different from Link. Glover. HATE. Sorry, but that game was...messed. Gex from Gex64 would make more sense, even.

Of course Geno should be in this one. In my opinion Mallow can be an assist trophy using a variety of weather magic on the opponents and hp rain the summoner. I agree on Paper Mario as well seeing he should've replaced Dr. Mario.

Also since clones are added to Brawl, Shadow should get his own moveset, Ganondorf with his blade, and Toon Link with his Phantom Hourglass gear.

Others include Mewtwo with his FS of Psycho Boost, Roy (I miss his cheer), and the duo Plusle and Minum from Pokemon. lol

Buck Bumble would be a good idea, but in physical stats, he'd be extremely small compared to the rest of the characters (he is a bee after all)unless they gave him super duper mushrooms or something. He'd make a nice assist trophy in the SSBB for Wii though.
