lol@mj talking about Orlando. That hadn't even beaten the Hawks at that point. It wasn't until the next night that they finished the Hawks off. Wonder what guys like Steve Smith and company were thinking? lol
This thing that amazes me about the Bulls in the late 90's was their consistency and intensity despite their age. You're looking at a bunch of guys in their 30's who should have lost their legs, especially at the end of games. But that's when they were the best. Someone always seemed to come up with a great defensive play.
man, i really miss MJ in the NBA and aslo these games, i think Kobe is the closest to what he was..cuz Lebron is overrated just got whipped by the celts..
Ugh please stop Jordan is fucking incredible nuff said. Idc Kobe is no where near this man. Everything Jordan did changed basketball forever, even him palming the ball became a NBA past time.
Well Im proud to say even though I was like 10 years old, I watched the NBA in those days, and watched Michael and the Bulls through their championship runs. It was incredible, they were the most famous team in all of sports, everybody had on Chicago Bulls clothes! Michael Jordan was synonymous with the word basketball. When you watched the Bulls play and watched Jordan, it really was like watching a basketball God...I think only the people who were watching it in those days can understand me.
I wish there were teams like this today. There's Kobe and Lebron but you combine them and you kind of get a jordan but a jordan with crutches, broken arms, cataracts, and an overall inability to play basketball.
I'm not hating and yeah I am exaggerating by quite a bit (duh). It's just that jordan was an incredible player and we might not see anything like him again for a long time.
@smpl90s might be a long time but i think we will never see another JORDAN. im only 20 and i get pissed watching this videos cuz i will never get to see the GOAT play. i get quietly enraged everyday i wake up and think about it. lol
the 95/96 bulls were the best bulls team ever they went 72 and 10 which is the greatess record of all time! nobody will ever break that record ever! and they will never be another jordan ever!
I would take Jordan Pippen Rodman over Magic Kareem and Worthy. Kareem was at the end of his career, worthy was good but not better than pip or rodman and magic was great but not better than mj. Plus they had kukoc who could give you 20pts any night, the original dirk norwitzi at 6'10' with ball handling skills and a 3-ball. Then they had all the role players that fit perfectly into their system like kerr and harper, longley and wennington with those baseline j's. That was a perfect team
Perfect? You had the best player ever(MJ) the best wingman in the game(Pippen) and crap besides that, Kukoc was an overpaid sissy who would have gotten destroyed under good defense. But arguably the 2 best in the game. The Lakers had three, Kareem, even at the end of his year could go for 30 and 16 against the Bulls centers'. Head to head, I'd take the lakers, but it's like personal opinion, they're close enough at the top that either of them could be considered.
Its just that every single player on that Bulls team from 1-12 fit their roles perfectly, which is why they were such a great team. Much better defensive team with Jordan, Pippen and Rodman being alltime great defenders. And Kukoc, while he was a soft big man, was such a hard matchup, they would probably have to put Magic on him, he was a great 3 shooter, and at 6'10 with ballhandling skills opened the floor by taking the big man away from the hoop. That teams was top to bottom the best ever
It's a tough call, the only reason I give the edge to the Lakeshow is because the Bulls had no one to guard Kareem(even when he was barely getting up the court). That said, the Lakers would have essentially been destroyed by Jordan. Jordan is a freak of nature that will never, NEVER, be duplicated. Greatest of All Time is correct, nothing else to be said
No doubt the most fun and exciting rivalry to watch. I love the wave bye bye to Spike Lee from MJ. The interview was great at the end to. Have a safe flight back to NY Spike.
Spike Lee ain't no real Knicks fan he roots for Jordan, Kobe. He also helps Reggie get going against them in the 4th qtr of Game 5 of Conf. Finals. What a tool.
love this game as a die hard bulls fan i hated the knicks in the 90's every time mike and the bulls beat them it gave me great joy thanks mike and pip for the greatess years of basketball bye bye spike and knicks
i never even watched this game. i was so angry after how they lost game 4. i knew after that loss da series was over. i wish da team just forfeited game 5! ima knicks fan by da way.

and it added much more exciting ingredients than the other games. thanks for sharing those films.

The Knicks deserve credit for even winning 1 against the Bulls. And most of the games were close in this series.

I dont see why people always compare Kobe to Jordan, Kobe never took his team to a 72-10 record.
