  • Three people are complete mongs. GO Chuck Rock!

  • "This was sadly removed from Megadrive and SNES conversions." - wat... I used to love the MD version of this song... better bass imo.

  • lol thats better than most of the music today xD

  • Nostalgic! I remember having pizza and playing this game from BlockBusters during the early 90s as a kid after school on Friday afternoon.

  • Comment removed

  • Nothing is better than this!!

    -start + select-

  • The Genesis/Megadrive conversion actaully does have the theme song and animation of the instruments in sync with the music. The SNES version doesn't.

  • i used to love this game

  • If you guys don't know you can get original tracker music file at scene.org FTP server under artist 4mat :)

  • This sounds nice especially the drums, but there's no way it's superior to the Mega Drive port. I can hear PSG sounds in this version and PSG is inferior to FM.

Further more I think I have the best version of this.

  • KID MEMORIES! awesome :D

  • I had this game for the Sega Master System and I'd do the same thing, letting the title screen idle so I could hear this song. Awesome shit.

  • fuck yeah:)

  • Great port, but i have the genesis version and i really enjoy its more harsh FM synthesized version.

  • lol this song brings so much memories back

  • this game is great good times with this and still got it lol

  • That song is amazing

and ALL OLD GAME ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!

  • Not to sound like an old git... but games today don't quite have the fun and silliness of the Amiga generation. Unless i'm looking back with rose tinted glasses.

  • @lastv8interceptor aajhhh i agree with you my friend...games was so funny back those days i had amiga too...i played golden axe titus the fox and much moreee!! those games bring back my old childhood...nostalgia!! hahahahah peace and love!

  • @lastv8interceptor Nope, you're spot on mate. Amiga games were FUN, first and foremost! Gameplay was everything. Now it's just about how much prettier or more realistic you can make it :(

  • Perfect song in minecraft main menu :P

  • Actually, this was for the megadrive. I just played it now.

  • @analblazer666

Obiously not from the megadrive version, you must have not played it "now".

  • @analblazer666

This is not the megadrive version but if you mean that the megadrive has it, yes, that's right

  • oenga boenga .

    burp/

loved chuck rock on A500 and A1200

  • Sure brings back memories!

  • ROCK'N'ROLL!

  • @INVOID666 ROCK'N'STONE!

  • Ah, childhood memories...

Remember I would just leave it playing and dance around the living room like an idiot :D

  • Only Amiga makes it possible! Must have been like 20 years ago I played this game, awesome!

  • Ach jaaaaa.... das waren noch Zeiten... :-D :-D

  • great game!! if my memory serves me well during this inro if you write "UNCLE SMAS" you get infinite energy :)

  • there is Guitar tab for this on the internet if anyone was wondering

  • it was in the MD version at least, check the links on your right ;)

  • aaah , thank you so much ^^

one of the best amiga theme music i can remember :D

(with other one of course, monkey island, turrican, shadow of the beast... amiga was so cool :p)

  • I can't speak for the snes version but this was included in the Genesis version. I watched it through twice the first time I turned it on. It was great how they actually played in time, hadn't seen that before in an opening theme. This is my favourite part of the game!

  • It's EPIC! Love it!

  • Great theme songs, why dont they put killa rock songs on todays games? they dont make em like the used to, all graphics no gameplay, no pure addictive replayable fun, no class.

  • I just came across this track while listening to kohinadotorg, holy fuuuu-, this is just epic!

  • i remember when i didnt want go play because i wanted to hear the theme song :P

  • @Sanyeliz ROFL same here!

  • @BitchinVR6 yeah, sometimes i think old game songs are better! they stay in your head for yearsssssss! ^^

  • @Sanyeliz Take it from a guy who has been there and is here now: old games ARE better.

  • @ShiryuGL yeah ive been there too and im not too old im 25, in fact i had my super nintendo a few years ago, intact. and i didnt have money so i sold it to my fathers friend and guess what? my father didnt charge him anything!! so practically i gave it to him... i was soooo mad! i miss it T_T

  • @Sanyeliz Im 31 but I never sold any of my older consoles. My SNES is up and running with 100 or so carts currently on my collection. =)

  • @ShiryuGL :O im soooo jealous!! take good care of it ; )

  • @Sanyeliz It's a keeper. v ^_^

  • @ShiryuGL : ) yeah it is!

  • @Sanyeliz ^_^

  • I absolutely loved this game!

  • Core Design Ltd. Gráficos A-CO-JO-NAN-TES para la época.

  • i loved the belly move LOL

  • ArghH!H!!!!!

His screams were soo awesome xD

  • Moja ulubiona gra 1997 :) Łukasz from Poland

  • hahahahaha long life to chuck rock

  • This is just pure classic xD

  • this is orginal song i got this game and this game Is so funny=D last boss is T-rex pants only XD

  • Gold. I still can't believe how intensely this song rocks. I hereby vow to play this live someday!

  • Actually I believe this music is in the Genesis version. I own a copy. It plays this at the title screen.

  • Is this track licensed or original?

  • What do you mean?

  • THIS ROCKS! Old games are the best!

  • I used to like to leave this playing on my Amiga all the time, fun times :D

  • the snes version sounds better somehow :P

Too bad this is the only good thing about this game xD

  • This is such a ridiculous and fun little tune.

  • down from the glen, came the marching men!

with their shields and their swords!

    i remember this music

-yes i know it's not thin lizzy

  • heh heh :)

  • ohh myy does this still crack me up!!! the music is fab ( and should be used on my name is earl ....in a chase scene..lol).. and still larffin at chucks flat foot at being charasmatically out of time...wow...funny funny..... the theme was better then the game though...

but imagine the programming it took back then for such small laughs....WELL I NOTICED...lol...

sad sad sad. yet ..not...ya git me... x

    thanks for posting this pal.....x

  • This was on the SNES version too but with different version came longer or shorter arrangements therefore the animation was slightly different.

  • Great tune. Love those harmonies. Possibly the greatest guitar solo Thin Lizzy never played!!

  • If you compare to some of the other platforms availabe at the time, that's trying to perform this theme, the Amiga really shows its superiority in the sound department back then.

  • OMG I Was 14...

    was favorite lool.

  • Gadzooks! It's Gary the Gritter, the local weirdo in them there bushes!

Love it! You heard the Machinae Supremacy cover of this song? Swedish metal band covered it... it's great, but I still prefer the original.

  • nah i'd love to hear it

can you send me a link please

  • I want the green dino for my band!

  • FUCKING LOVE IT!!

  • Good old times of Amiga.

    Theme was absolutely a whack.

Other good music, that I remember, was from Shadow of The Beast.

  • Yeah, good old memories. Shadow of the Beast II and Z-Out had awesome theme tunes, too.

  • I need a band to play this.

  • bad game good intro

  • gaah! Memories! I love this theme :D

  • Wow this game DOES take me back, when I was like 11.

  • This game was badass, too bad my SNES copy is fucked!

  • Now THAT takes me back.

  • by far the best intro to any game ever.

  • I personally like the SNES version the best, but this is still entertaining. This game is also pretty $^*$@^&ing hard too!

  • I love the way that at one point Chuck goes crazy with his guitar playing, his hand is literally a blur! lol I don't remember the game at all, but I DO remember this crazy intro. Its up there with all the classic Amiga tunes, like Cannon Fodder's "War - Never Been So Much Fun" and that funky Gods intro music.

  • eheheh chuck rock rocks! fuck! I still remember the theme ahahaha

  • chuck rocked!! hehe get it?

  • so many are saying that this game was rubbish but I remember playing this when i was little and thinking it was awesome! I think you had to be the right age and it was very simple looking back at it, i was 7 or something!

  • my friend has chuck rock and i have chuck rock 2 (son of chuck)

  • EXCELLENT

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome

  • I wasn't a great fan of the game but I loved the menu music. Thanks for posting!

  • When I was nine years and my brother was twelve, my parents bought us our first computer. It was a Amiga500s. The year was 1991. One of the games we had was Chuck Rock, which is exactly in this video. It was great, brilliant, witty, fun and infinitely beautiful. Spain also beat the evil Gary Critter, hahahaha!

  • "Used to leave my Amiga idleing playing this while I was doing homework"

haha me to, it's like love ^_^

  • Bwahahahaha chuck rock!!! :D

  • AWESOME GAME, i completed this game when i was 6 on the Amiga 500 hehe...

SO MANY MEMORIES, i miss the 90's so very much. happy time's made my day mate thank you!

  • I played this game a lot when I was like 8 too. The 90's were the best! haha. Cheers

  • Awesome! Someone had fun makin' this!

    Happy days!

  • i remember i played another version of this on sega 8-bit, its different, but i cant find it on youtube =(

  • He's just saying thank you.

  • Proper language? Hahah. Yeah, I forgot, English is the only allowed language in the world. The rest of us are just sinners. Heil Fiddleburger!

  • Amiga Music...roxx =) played this game too..love it.

  • I got ROCK ROLLED

  • lol

  • cant help making a huge smile when i see this.. oh the good memories.

  • How many memories with this intro :)

    LOL.

    THANKS SO MUCH

  • This is the title theme to end all title themes. Also it was on the genesis version, thats where I first heard it.

  • The sounds and music in Amiga games. That's why I loved this old machine so much. I managed to get an Amiga 500! :) Back then I also used to listen to this music, I recorded it on tape. Groovy!

  • Oh the nostalgia! Used to watch my big brother play this game, so awesome.

  • AMAZING!!!!!!!!

  • I'd love to start a band and play this song.

  • used to be my favorite game in amiga :)

  • k amo!!!

  • I had this song in my mind and finally I found it. Good memories of a great game...

Fantastico, è proprio la musica di Shadow of the Beast! Grazie della dritta!

  • I remember doing homework while this song played over and over on my amiga...indeed it was the good 'ol days. My personal favourites were, besides this classic game theme, the Super Cars II intro and menu music, and all Lotus games. I would even load the games sometimes just to listen to their themes. If there are some amiga game cover bands out there, I'd love to know.

  • I loaded hours of games just to listen to their tunes, too! I liked also the songs from Turrican II, Gods and many cracktros.

  • all the versions of this tune are good, even the game boy one and that was pretty bad haha. i like all the versions plus someone did a MP3 version of the tune, i would check it out its amazing

  • Chuck Rock on BBC1.

  • The music isn't removed from mega drive and SNES, but simply remaked for the sound capacity for the hardware of these video games!

  • Greatest game song ever

  • Damn i miss the old times BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!

  • Best 'Game-Song' ever. Will never get bored of it. x

  • indeed... I was used to listen to it over and over again for hours...

  • You are correct!..... Mathew Simmons AKA..

4Mat of Anarchy did the tune for CORE. He also did CarVup.. but core was upset coz they found out that most of the tunes for that game had allready be used in an Anarchy demo a few months before! lol

Signed Judge Drokk of ANARCHY 1989-2003

  • Defo not to be had as a ringtone on your phone. Otherwise you'd be totally rocking out and never answering and all your mates would think that you'd gotten all snobby cos of that new girl you started going out with and she'd be like you're better off without them and then they wouldn't take you on that lads holiday to Ibiza. The cow.

  • this game was the fukkkkkkking shit

  • love this, good memories =)

  • Back again for my weekly fix.

    Ungah-Bungah.

I want my A500 back. all is forgiven. Oh workbench werefore art thou ?

  • Great awesome song. Does anyone know where I can find tabs to play it on guitar ?

  • I remember this, made me want to be in a Dino-rock band. Makes you want to throw rocks. :-)

  • Ah this brings back memories =D Great tune then and great tune now

  • they can't nowdays make good musics in games. accept noboue ueamatsu is amazing.

  • great tune, i own all the versions of the tune! one of the best ever created!

  • This song has been buzzing round my head all day at work. Had to blast it on youtube.

Love this music and love this game.

  • I played this game on the Megadrive, and no , the title song was not removed. Its the same.

  • fuck men that is fucking awsome that remind me a lot of fuck god than things

  • Thanks for uploading :) This makes me smile every time I watch/listen, and I've done it quite a few times now :D

  • What style of rock is this? Ive been wanting to find real bands like this. You know.. the dual guitar and keyboarding?

  • Prog rock...short for Progressive....Could be hard rock...Depp purple was hard rock and they did stuff like this.

  • Anyone want to start a band playing old Amiga classics? =) This was my favourite theme by far, followed by the Lotus 1 title song

    Thanks for posting!

  • Great idea :D

  • \m/(>.<)\m/

  • old times good times

    brings back memories :-)

great hug to all amiga owners :-)

  • I was stuck with an Amiga 500 to the end of 1995, so I wasn't reluctant to upgrade to a PC... I was ecstatic.

I used to compare Amiga games with their arcade, Genesis or SNES versions, and the poor Amiga always got the version with the worst graphics. I watched Playstation and Saturn commercials on TV, and then I looked back to my slow and obsolete Amiga, which would've never been able to run those games. When I got a PC, I felt as if a whole new world had opened in front of me.

  • Unfortunately, no games used any of the upgrades an Amiga could get. I read my old Amiga magazines and I find reviews of a 68020 w/math coprocessor for A500, a card to add a real 256 colors mode to any non-AGA Amiga, an 8 MB RAM expansion for A500, hard drives, CD drives... but games were ONLY made for unexpanded computers!

You're right, Amiga COULD do much more than what it did, but no game developers ever gave it the chance to. :-(

  • That's right. It was a fantastic computer. It still is!! When I was young I had a lot of fun with this machine...those times are over...no fun with PC anymore :-)

  • Why not? A PC can be fun too! There's a lot of titles out there, and if you have an nVidia video card you can even play them in stereoscopy! You can make your own levels for a lot of games, you can code in Dark Basic with the same ease coding in AMOS used to have, you can emulate a lot of machines from the NES to the Playstation 2... there's a lot of fun you can have with a PC! ;-)

  • Amiga could do this :-)

  • Some parts of it remind me of Marilyn Manson's "Rock is dead"! (yeah, I know THIS came before Rock is Dead)

  • unga bunga

  • My word, that was a SONG! :D
