There have been 3 female vocalists in Rock since I've been listening (which is a long time) that I consider unbelievably wonderful. Gracie Slick was the first. Annie Lennox is also in that group. Beautiful voice. One of 3 that stand head and shoulders above the others.

IMHO, a very under rated version of this song. The original CD or iTunes recordings are much clearer and very much worth a listen.

I first heard this version in "The Net" and fell in love with it. Still a great version of the song and a great singer and presentation.

I was actually there for her rehearsal of this performance - live. Nobody else was there except for the technicians.

It felt like she was singing just for me.

I will NEVER forget the experience - I have never heard a voice so beautiful in person in my life. Gave me chills and still does to this day.

WOW! I have been looking for this version for a WHILE!! I remember this - it's some sort of VH1 award that Chris Isaak gives her. During his speech he remarks on the band wearing bear outfits! I remember because it was WELL before everyone had internet and when I finally saw the actual video, it was switched and she was wearing the bear outfit. Awesome post! Thanks!~

I remember when I first heard this song- I was in a grocery store.. and my sense of time and space shrank into every fiber of my "being" experiencing this song. (literally!) Everything about this is magical.. voice, musical composition- to my ears this is the BEST version of this song. I gotta say "Thank you" to ya, YellaBelly. : )
