Most people know shit about war, he had a choice to make and took one to save his team. This wouldn't happen if the US stay home and mind their on business, instead of using an excuses to take over Iraq.
I feel for the soldier to be put in a situation where there is no clear cut enemy and then always have to worry about who the real enemy is. They are honorable soldiers like this. What bothers me is why do we stay in this perpetual war situation since WW11. And why is there never a clear cut enemy anymore and why are we always in wars backing corrupt governments. There is a lot of profit motive in these wars are soldiers are asked to die in.
We need to walk a mile in each others shoes, and until we all learn to develop a much more "compassionate" heart, this type of "solution" will be the only one that we can see. We can't continue to follow this same path that has never worked except temporarily. I would suggest more diplomacy in dealing with people of different cultures. Negotiations have to be two ways, obviously.
I would suggest minding your own business and asking yourself why your country is so hated in the first place. Probably because you are bullies ,thievs, and killers of any peaceful society to satisfy your greed
well, if shooting kids is the right thing to do... keep up the good work... You are invading and occupying a country, what do you expect the Iraqis do? Put down their pants and bend over? Well, some might do that, others rather throw rocks at you, which you might mistake for grenades... What if I would invade your house, rape your wife and wait for you to make a move on me, so than I can kill you out of "self defense". It will haunt you forever as deep down you know what horrors you've caused.
