Except I'm going to put a big ass picture of myself on the board so that if some asshole at evo walks off with it then everyone knows where he got it from.
what do i have to search in deviant art to find this art if you could send me a link it would be awsome plz get me back awsome stick keep up the good work
The hardest part I would imagine is getting everything to work on USB. Can you buy a board for that, or do you just solder a stripped usb cable onto a circuit board from radio shack and then solder all the button and joystick wires onto the appropriate terminals? I've seen people modify the madcatz stick, but that looks expensive to be honest. Sanwa parts aren't cheap, but it looks cheaper to just make your own with wood and sanwa parts.
There is a wired xbox 360 controller pcb inside of the actual joystick casing , This is called a "padhack" Google it or just head over to the SRK forums and see a few guides/examples.
There is no latency issues with a wireless PCB. Maybe some older technology, but not the 360 PCB. I have made sticks with both, and I guarantee there are no latency issues. Good job with this sick man.
Where'd you get the headset jack? I'm working on making a stick, and I need one to connect to the pcb. I've tried the local radioshack, no luck. I got a couple places here to check, but just wondering where you got yours.
you can do anything you could do with an xbox360 controller that had no analog sticks and no triggers with this I believe as it's just the guts (pcb) of a 360 controller wired to arcade joystick and buttons, so yeah with the appropriate drivers this can work on a PC and hopefully mugen if it can be configured right
nice stick. im currently trying to build a wireless arcadestick but got a blank wall on the recharging part due to the play n charge kit cable. i would like to do something like Finkle's wireless 360 sticks but i have no clue on where to find the info for it :(
Oh well very nice job. I want it, and would probably black mail you for it. But do you know how to transfer jpgs to the blank temmplate that they give you at Arcade in a Box's site?
That maple looks clean as fuck.

Dont go wireless! Stick with a cord, you want no latency at all. That is the point of building one of these in the first place.
