I like Admiral Howe, not at all like his brother General Howe. Admiral Howe is a wise military man, he not only understands his enemies but feels sympathetic to America and its cause. Admiral Howe would be one of the few British military men that I've come to Respect in the American Revolutionary War.

In case anyone was wondering, the house that Ben Franklin and John Adams meet Admiral Howe in on Staten Island still stands. The Conference House is open for tours Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from April to December.
