You can buy the tt-01 chassis in many different versions even here in germany...

I would say it will be the best to get a kit that you can build by yourself. I bought the tt-01 nissan gtr r34 nismo KIT with motor, led lights and electronic speed controller. I needed some drift tires and paint... its better because you can put your own things into the car...

i found this exact same thing at my local rc shop for $300-320 not sure.. but the ones where you gota build it yourself and paint was like $250 no remote or battery. in totall to buy the battery remote and charger for the battery was $380 in total for me.. thats cdn currancy though

how long do the tires last?... Thinking about getting one but as proper drift cars get through a lot of tires, do R/C cars do the same?

@rick2494 Don't worry at all about drif tires!! They are made of "hard plastic" and they last loooooong!!

U have to worry about the "grip" ones...if u have a bit better car (faster motor, or amp) tires gets bold in a month or less...I destroyed "slick tires" in 15 days :(

There are also 50/50 tires, that allows u to drift but with an higher speed...they last long too.
