We all know that Manson's a pretty chill guy but this is the antithesis of the original song, turning an anti-pop song into a pop song really enrages fans of the original, I didn't like Sweet Dreams any more than this for the same reason. I was a fan of pop in the 80's as a little kid and a fan of metal in the 90's as a rebellious teen, this just drips of ruining something sacred for a quick buck.

As a fan of both, I have to say that I actually like this song. I think Manson's version exploits how society places value on beauty above all else and seems to have an obsession with it("the weak/ugly ones are there to justify the strong/beautiful") and showcases the more frightening and grotesque side of this obsession, while Aguilera's version represents the superficiality and glamour that composes the view that most people seem to have about outward beauty ("they've got no problems").
Well... That is definitely different... I have to admit that I personally prefer Manson's own version but I do think that Aguilera is quite brave for giving it a try. Thumbs up for that :o)

@NewtonSalem I do not think Aguilera's a great artist. She does have a great voice, but not much more. Marilyn Manson made a great song. Aguilera made nonesense pop music. This song is catchy but nothing more. There is no message from this song and I don't think anybody will be sampling any of Aguilera's songs. Marilyn Manson had a lot to say during the 90's and he and the band still have a lot of fans. I'm sure more people can connect with what Manso has to say if they actually listen.

@jsanchez14600 Christina is one of the most influential artist, or at least an Original artist, because, she made a RawEmotional masterpiece called Stripped, except for dirrty, all the album is Espectacular, and really meaningfull.also, This song isn't meant to have a deep meaning, but in burlesque there are awesome songs like Bound to You. U can't judge an artist before knowing her/him. marilyn is an BIG artist, and he is an inspiration to me, but Christina isn't just "good voice" she IS MUSIC.

Manson is my all-time favorite artist, a "purist" as TheGlassChimera would say. With the exception of the "Beautiful People" riff, Manson's vocals near the end, and the title, I would say this is a song that stands on its own. I dig it, and Manson is always up for a unique take on his songs

The lead singer for Black Daliah Murder has a great vocal range, its not singing like christina but its a good range. But hands down the best singer/performer/artist of all time is the King of Pop Mr Michael Jackson. thats a no brainer though
