@jv180sx Engine choice is solely dependent on the airline unless it is a 777-300ER, which only uses the GE90-115B. Emirates uses both RR and GE's on their aircraft. Has nothing to do with the country the airline is based in...American Airlines uses all RR on their 777-200's, Delta uses GE90-110's

I did not know Emirates had Rolls Royce powered 777's. And the 777-300ER does not have RR engines as an option.

I think thats an Airbus A330.

Emirates is one of the best airlines in the world! I can not wait until they start service to Los Angeles and San Francisco later this year. Emirates does hire a multi-national crew. Most of my flight attendants on my last flight were western (blonde hair women). US legacy airlines are such an embarrasment! We are lucky in the US to even have a 3 star airline... they're all crap compared to other airlines around the globe.
