U.S. loves to do everything different compared to the rest of the world, everywhere uses the 1 fuel, america goes a different fuel, everywhere else pretty much has the same standards for maintenance, except for america who uses there own system, doesnt suprize me they use GE90's instead of the RR
@jv180sx Engine choice is solely dependent on the airline unless it is a 777-300ER, which only uses the GE90-115B. Emirates uses both RR and GE's on their aircraft. Has nothing to do with the country the airline is based in...American Airlines uses all RR on their 777-200's, Delta uses GE90-110's
That really isn't true. You should see Britain. They have everything different. Drive on the other side of the road, different currency then the rest of europe, different politics....different gauge for train tracks..

nice video next month iam go9ing to fly on emirates from cairo to kualalumpur sepang via dubai and i will have 2 flights one is 773 and the next one is 773er
Nice video... I am flying with emirates soon to melbourne. The flight goes from London Heathrow to Dubai on a 773 and then from Dubai to Melbourne on an A340.
A 777 is the type of aircraft, The 773 is short for Boeing 777-300 series. They are powered by either the Rolls Royce - 892, Pratt & Whitney's 4000s, or the General Electric 90 engine.
the 777-300 can have RR, PW or GE engines mounted on them. so I don't know what you think you are all discussing for, but it is christal clear on the entire internet that a 777-300 can have either GE, RR, or PW engines. It is the choice of the costumer.
btw the 773ER can only have GE, because this particular engine has most thrust.!
Emirates is one of the best airlines in the world! I can not wait until they start service to Los Angeles and San Francisco later this year. Emirates does hire a multi-national crew. Most of my flight attendants on my last flight were western (blonde hair women). US legacy airlines are such an embarrasment! We are lucky in the US to even have a 3 star airline... they're all crap compared to other airlines around the globe.
that's a curious question...I guess there're many arabs pilots but for sure there are a lot of westerners. I leave in Brazil and Emirates crew comes many times in the year looking for flight attendents and pilots aswell. So It might happen in other countrys too.
