  • This horse and person have great posture... I love everything she did with the horse... I also love how she kept her heels down...the horse is beautiful and is really really good!!! :)

  • thhat horse looks fine how it is so why the short reins, spurs and whips animal abuse is the unnesasary suffering of an animal all of that is unnasasary

  • really shouldn't use maringales in cross country should let the horse stretch over the jump :) x

  • @AbbieLovesCandy98 your knowledge on martingales must be poor then, only a standing martingale would prevent a horse stretching his neck, the rider is using a running martingale, and is called that as the reins run through the martingale. i dont think i have ever seen anyone go xc this level without a running martingale :)

  • i love crosscountry but not as much as i used to beacause in town at coonabarabran a horse was struggling and he slipped and rolled down the hill and the rider told them not to shoot him and then the horse got back up b and he was perfectly fine but he fell down again and had a heart attack and died it was really sad

  • Well he IS wearing a martingale so he probably holds his head high anyway, as long as she lets him strech going over the jumps he should be okay. He's an awesome looking horse :)

  • thinking about getting a cross country horse... any breed suggestions????

  • @poniesforever2

Any kind of sporthorse is great... I ride a TBxTrakehner right now, but my best friend (who is pretty short) has a sport pony, I have a friend who uses her Appendix, another friend with a Paint. It depends on how high you're going to go, what temperment you want, and really just the individual horse. :) But if you can find the right one, Arabs (and Half-Arabs) are great for XC. My old one loved it, and he was amazing.

  • The rider is way to high on the horses neck which if he/she was not in the correct jumping position the horse and rider would be hurt over a unsuccessful jump.

  • Augh.. I just dont agree with how high she is keeping that horse's neck.. Such strain @-@

  • WOW! some of those drops are huge! how big were the jumps! IMPRESSIVE! i know it was ages ago but well done!

  • Why are his reins so terribly short? I don't wish to offend anyone but I need to know...

  • Comment removed

  • @cherrybombed134 We riders needs short reins to control our horses. :) But not to short or long reins. :P

  • horses are my favorite animal out of all history!!!!!!!!!!!

  • would i be able to use these clips on my other channel for videos i ll give u credit ... (1ProfessionalPride1)

  • cross country seems so fun to do!

  • @horsecrazy10150 it IS!

  • really nice horses

  • That's amazing~ Beaut horse too <3

  • i went to somerford park today and it was the first time for me and my horse doing cross country. He is a 4 year old welsh cob section D and currently stands at 14.3hh. He absolutely loved it! I am thinking about going into showing him cross country he just gets a bit excited when he sees the jumps

  • WOW cross country ROX!!! it is the best!!!! My horse and i are really great!

  • Wow, this is a great video! It makes me want to get on a pro horse and do this...

  • gewoon ziek, dat mensen over zulke gevaarlijke dingen hun paard over laten springen!!

  • great job! you did wonderful even when the horse was a lil squirmy

  • @HunterJumper1518 That's so cool! Most of the morgans at my barn do just Hunt Seat on the flat and driving.

  • Can I use these clips in a video? Full credit and a link to this video will be in the description.

  • I just bought a morgan and it makes me SO happy to see a Morgan eventing =) this looked amazing

  • That horse jumps over anything! he's just amazing!

Nice couple, the horse respond to the rider and the rider trust the horse.. waht can we aks more?

  • These riders are the best, they do dressage, show jumping AND cross country, they're my heroes! XD

  • Nice video :D

  • I love that horse <3 he is so cute!

  • amazing horse

  • Even as a western rider, this is one of my favorite equestrian sports to watch. Looks like a blast.

  • that is a gorgeous horse!!! nice ride

  • ahhh i think im falling in love with morgans!

  • I'm not used to seeing Morgans doing cross country, but this horse looks JUST like the Morgans at my riding barn. Can anyone tell me if Morgans are common in these riding sports? I'm new to this and have a ton of questions! :)

  • @horsesrmylife78 Morgans are wonderful horses but just like anything else the individual horse has to have the personality for what you might be planning for them - there's no reason not to find out! But do remember you might find out that he/she is better suited to something else - :)

  • @RNSvideo that was a good rider that horse wasn't going all the way on its own, kinda heavy on the reinds.

  • @horsesrmylife78 Morgans are great horses that overall have outstanding temperaments. They're intelligent and have wonderful athletic builds to them. Although their true bloodlines aren't all that certain, you can definitely see the Arabian and Thoroughbred in them, which give Morgans their appealing appearances. Morgans aren't too common in these style sports, however they're not the most common breed either. That being said, they are highly qualified for equition.

  • @GingerTheCarrotTop Thanks! I ride Morgans, so I know their beauty and temperament personally. :) I have seen them do driving, saddle seat, and dressage, but only a tiny bit of jumping and cross country. They're so amazing!

  • @horsesrmylife78 Yeah, I love Morgans, and like you said, they can be a very versatile breed of horse. I'm actually looking into buying one myself. It's kind of tricky finding a good Morgan breeder or an individual selling an intermediate/well trained Morgan though for a fair price though. That being said, since I'm hoping to progress more in hunter jumping, I would go with a Morgan that's on the taller side for the breed because Morgans tend to be on the shorter side.

  • it may be a morgan cuz morgans are used for endurance alot..

  • @horsesrmylife78 morgans typically are not for jumping, there amazing horses just not athletic, at least with jumping big stuff like intermediate. This morgan is amazing, a rare find

  • @1yearyounger Morgans are actually very versatile and athletic, it's a trait the breed over is known for. First Morgan I bought was a hunter/jumper, she was quite natural with beautiful scope (15.3 with shoes). I think the reason Morgan's haven't quite broken into the eventing world quite yet is due to the fact of their size. Where a TB may be 16+ hands a Morgan is rare to be over 15.4 but can be found. People need to keep in mind size isn't everything, a Morgan's heart will overcome.

  • @GoldenOakFarm As an eventer i have a small horse, i meant there build. But i guess your right about them.

  • @horsesrmylife78 I actually see morgans ALL the time in cross country! crazy huh? :0 I own one myself and they are just amazing!

  • @horsesrmylife78 I love morgans! And my cross country horse is a twh x and she does great! So go and do it with morgans :) All the ones I've ridden have been super athletic and fun.

  • This is horse is beautiful! He(?) looks like he has a lot of energy in him! He has really nice strides too.

  • Woooow she makes galloping looms so easy well done!!!

  • Good riding! Nice round! We can't say anything about that riding cuz we haven't ridden the HORSE...it has a LOT of go...and that yanking might be what she needs to stay focused instead of running around dangerously and unbalanced...

  • maybe part of it IS trying to keep his head up but a lot of it is also pulling...

  • wow i love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow ilove it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • fucking horse He is a CHAMPION my friends not to many out there .EXPENSIVE HORSE. he is very smart very very nice bey.

  • congrats to the owner of this babe. I like this horse better than my car

  • I dont know but it seens that the horse enjoys the rider . amaizing horse reali I dont like the horse got wet after all that runing maybe no problem because he runs more still great jokey boy hey..

  • everyone is saying that this girl is a bad rider and shes pulling on her horses mouth, or she has her hands up to high..

i had an instructor tell me 'Keep your horses head up! especially when jumping big or tricky jumps'

he told me of his bad eventing fall, he didnt keep his horses head up to look at the jump properly, the horse hit the fence, and they went rolling down the hill on the other side. thats when stopped doing eventing.

she isnt pulling on her horses mouth, shes keeping his head UP!

  • cool video!!!!

  • oh man, that horse is really beautiful I want one like that :(

  • Wow. Cross Country has got to be the most incredible equestrian sport. The precision, stamina, accuracy, connection, balance... It's amazing.

  • dem pferd wir voll am maul rumgerissen!!

  • this horse has a very springy jump, i like it. this horse and rider are awsome and all of u saying that its not a morgan probably havent seen the horse up close and you cant tell from a video it could look like a TB because most breeds developed from the TB and arabian

  • holy crap......25xc jumps!!! i dont think i could remember the whole course!!! lol id be lucky if my horse jumped 1/2 of those!!!

  • @imnotrandomcreations every jump basically flows in order so u jump 1 then u can already see the next one and where you have to jump.

  • That takes major skillage! Show this to people whom think horseback is not a sport. Tell them to go try that!

  • I'm Loving cross country + love the video!!!!!!!!

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE CROSS COUNTRY!!!!!!!!!!!

  • whoa. good job (: great rider

  • omg , she's awesome =D

  • the horses rider is making that poor horse brace to mutch but it was a clean ride

  • wow! so cool.... :)

  • it looks like fun...but i'm way too scared to jump

  • What a beautiful little horse (sorry, I call most horses little. I was originally inrtoduced to almost all drafts). <3 He's absoloutly gorgeous. I never knew Groton had competitions, and I live so close to there. Even though I'm more of a dressage and eventer I LOVE cross country! I'll be sure to stop by at the next one.

No one has to 'bag' on anyone just because they're younger, it's better to start out young. I'm only 14, and even when I was 10 I could probably have identified it as a Morgan.

  • Wow that horse is fearless, almost no hesitation! What an impressive ride

  • Amazing jumper :) amazing horse and rider :D

  • can i use this?

  • quite the jumper. doesn't surprise me a bit this horse is a morgan. I've seen some reeaal nice morgan jumpers. that horse is a packerr.

  • @xemilyx805 um dont you mean 'real' not reeaal...lol

  • @horselover4ever131 hhaha well if you say it like reeaal it adds emphasis...iguess. hahaa

  • @xemilyx805 haha yea ok then he's a reeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal good jumper[?]!

  • @horselover4ever131 hahah yeaah exactly!

  • @xemilyx805 ok haha yeeeeeeeaaahhhh[?]!!!

  • Pure morgan, that's amazing!

Shame about all the contraptions over it's head though.

  • Looks like great fun.....it's a shame they don't offer cross country anywhere near me. There are no forests or fields to run around in!

  • Asome video! Thanks. I LOVE GHF!!!!!! I spent one whole summer there and LOVED it!!

  • definately a morgan i own one and all the conformation characteristics are that of a morgan. nice to see one doing this kind of stuff and doing very well!

  • I Know Em & B personally and he has Morgan papers

  • what a beauty of a horse is that, and clearly very well trained!

    congrats

  • I absolutly would love to try eventing. or cross country it seems so fun!

I only jump my halflinger but in the future I would love to try this. great job..

  • a.m.a.z.i.n.g

  • looks fun

  • For crazy1coral and horselover4ever131 since you think a Morgan cannot do this look up Flash the horse the USPC had Breyer make for their 50th Anniversary Model. They can not only do cross country/jumping but they can excel at it.

    RNSvideo

2 weeks ago @horselover4ever131 Just wanted to let you know I spoke with her at NAJYRC and the horse is absolutely a morgan.

    Trillium005

1 week ago @horselover4ever131 I know Emily and Bacardi personally and he is most definitely a Morgan with papers.

    ---

Crazy1coral and others, it has been clearly stated that he is a Morgan. Look up more about Morgans and see how much they can do. They are very handy jumpers.

  • im i have to admit its defo not a morgan, morgans hardly jump they do showing and dressage, it looks like one but its not :L My friends mum's friend does TB training and it gallops & acts like a TB plus when they sweat there vains show and its vains were showing after one of the jumps

  • what a gorgeous horse, i am reminded how much i love horses :)

  • Amazing Ride.

  • Gorgeous horse!! Good riding!

  • i think the horse has arab either in it or it is a type of arabian (ie: anglo arab, shagya arabian) but, just a hunch. its head and tail look arab.

  • Amazing ride! Amazing horse!

  • the horse and rider are a great pair and very well balanced. keep up the great work!

  • can i use this in a video im making?

  • @tysonrocksmyworld If proper credit is given to the production company AND the horse and rider....good?

  • That is a very pretty horse, I just love Morgans. I was at a fair yesterday, watching the classes show their horse for I think best in ring, where they ride around in a circle,

  • nice job! A bit too hard on the reins though on some parts. but besides that, it's good. :)

  • that is amazing riding!

  • For some reason I cannot get enough of this video.

  • she isn't able ride a horse ; /

    she pull that horse...

    beach

  • i love cross country!

  • well he is a clean jumper but no he is not a morgan

  • @horselover4ever131 Just wanted to let you know I spoke with her at NAJYRC and the horse is absolutely a morgan.

  • @horselover4ever131 idk what you see, but that horse looks morgan to me. youd be surprised to know what some little horses can do. Teddy O'Connor ring a bell? Just because they are shown in the ring doesnt mean they cant excel in anything else.

  • @horselover4ever131 I know Emily and Bacardi personally and he is most definitely a Morgan with papers.

  • @horselover4ever131 why do you come on here and believe youre right about everything? seeing as your name is horselover, you must be around 12, so you definitely do not have permission to come on here acting like you know everything.

  • @gennaduy12345 excuse me, i am actually 15 so youd better not EVER dare to accuse me of being 12 again! i have a horse and i my best disipline is cross country so i DO know what im talking about and that horse IS NOT a morgan get it right jeez...AND seeing as YOUR name is so retarded YOU must be around 10-13 AND this is not even your video, so STOP carrying on!

  • @horselover4ever131

well if u read the reply to ur first comment saying 'He is not a morgan', u would realise that he is a morgan

read things properly and get it into your head, that you dont kno everything

  • @horselover4ever131 OOO LOOK AT ME IM GONNA TYPE IN CAPS TO UNLEASH THE FURRRY.

You're a fucking idiot, this horse is in fact a Morgan, just because you ride doesn't mean you're an expert on breeds, and you being 15 still shows how young you are and how you clearly do not have the years of experience for riding or identifying horses.

  • @xiradasend Well, it's possible, I'm only 11 and I could tell that it was a Morgan just by it's conformation. So, just because she is 15 doesn't mean she has no experience in breeds.

  • @horselover4ever131 get out of heree

  • @horselover4ever131 morgans CAN have that thoroughbred look to them...I've seen other morgans that look just like him

  • that water jump looks hard, to keep up the momentum to get over the 2nd one, wow, horse looks like its having a ball, reminds me of my daughters little welshie

  • great video also thats a really cute horse :)

  • she doesnt seem to be setting him up for the jumps too well. other than that, good ride. it looks tough

  • what type of horses are those?

  • This is only Intermediate Cross Country?! Haha this stuff is intense :) What would expert Cross Country look like...?

  • I am so impressed by the horse and the rider! He reminds me of my Kevlar so much, not just in color, but also in his carriage and his conformation...and how EASY he makes those jumps look. I've worried because Kev isn't built like his famous brother Teddy, but watching Misty Vale Baca go makes me feel that much more confident that there's no reason why Kevvie could indeed do it, too. Thanks for posting the video!

  • WOW...really excellent job! The horse looked great too!

  • that's why I love english. You get to go cross-country or just got for speed and do showjumping. The feeling must be really great! I'm surprised, haven't seen much morgan's jump that high before, I usually see them doing dressage.

  • She doesn't ride well. She was just letting the horse do the work. You need to tell a horse how to take this jump! She's lucky he didn't refuse. She should learn to ride then come back

  • @Richgirl651 thats what i thought to.

  • @Richgirl651

obviously, if she's riding that level, she knows how to ride

do u even ride, your you tube account only has 2 videos of you, and you are only singing...

    P.S learn to sing

  • she dose not know how to ride vary well =[ sorry but thats what i think.

  • @mshorserider100 what makes you think that?

  • Is that really a Morgan!??!!! Gives me and my lil guy hope, hes 2, so it makes me feel like its a realistic goal to see another morgan at this level and doing it soooo well!! Whats his name/breeding?

  • God she made that look easy! Adorable Horse!

  • that horse is gorg, fare play

  • i have never done cross country, but i want to. very good Video.

  • beautiful horse, but you need to work on pace and your releases

  • TWO POINT

  • Stunning horse, and amazing riding!! Sheer beauty over those jumps! x

  • going up the hill, from the start of the video i would give the horse a little more rein. and then shorten them while you are going up over the hill going to the jump. just a thought not critizing

  • wow. shes gr8 but she pulled on her horses mouth alot

  • @horselover4ever131 you have to in cross country if you ever want to succeed i mean it tells them to stay on their feet and not to refuse, works with my horse and he loves cross country

  • I think she holds the head up high to help the horse collect it's hind end to give him enough impulsion to go up and down the hills and over the jumps. Also, I can't believe this is a morgan! Looks like a thoroughbred or warmblood to me.

  • @horsiegirl97

I met the horse at the competition and he's all Morgan. He's tall, and bred for sport, and very very catty. I think he holds his head up high all by himself :)

  • wow. this is so amazing. i never even knew cross country jumping existed as a sport!! i do jumpers competitions but like in show arenas...i definitely want to try cross country now! what country is this in?

  • @wonderwoman1148 It's called eventing....in just about all countries these days. This is in the USA, and other big eventing nations are Britain, Australia, Germany, Belgium, Italy, France, Sweden....Not sure why you haven't heard of eventing if you ride...it's been an Olympic discipline since the 1960s.

There's also pure cross country events like point-to-point and hunter classes.

  • i could never do cross country!!! omg all that jumping off ledges and on ledges loks waty to scarry! i know i sound like a whimp but i just couldnt! i will show jump or dressage but never cross country! haha

  • @horserider23141 ~~ i am with you there! not only is it nerve racking its also extremely dangerous for horse and rider because the jumps dont move

  • some really good rider theree and horsee :))

  • Very well done, such a great team!

  • wow that horse is fearless!

you two must have a very strong bond, as the trust you share is immense.

  • great job! ur horse is gorgeous! i love to event :D best feeling in the world:)

  • ahhhhhhhhh! big scary jumps!

  • Atta girl! ;) what a great horse! no refusals at all! Im loving that horse, is it a morgan?? Wow, she did really well! :), the horse seemed to like to go fast though lol, looked like she had her work cut out holding it back lolz x

    Nice vid x

  • nice video!! can you make more?

  • we do all the time! check the rest of the channel and I am in the process of building a video-blogging site for eventing - I will update all the subscribers for more info when it's ready - hopefully the end of the month!

  • @RNSvideo

Thanks for what you do. I have never subscribed to anyone's stuff before, but I've just subscribed to yours--and I'm going to recommend that my friends do so, too.

  • Very beautiful horse ... clears the jumps just perfectly

  • What eva blackhat092 I've seen you ride, you look ike a sack of potatoes

  • that horse goes really nicely off the whip, my pony freaks out when you smack him! and they look very balanced in that course, obviously a great horse (very gutsy)

  • Why would you whip your horse! I made a truce to never touch my horse with a whip

  • its none of you business if i carry a crop while riding. back off not your problem

  • I know. I'm sorrry I just dont understand... why would you use a whip/crop on your horse? Or do you just carry it with you??

  • i mostly just carry it but my pony is super green and he can be a handful sometimes and can actually get pretty dangerous..

  • the whip isnt to brutaly hit the horse in any way, its just to back up the leg aids. if its any more than that than it is abuse in some cases.

  • Ooh... is see
