There is not one metal guitarist that is worth anything that only plays one genre and that's thet truth about guitarist if they are really talented metal guitarist they are probadly better at other genres.

My favorite band would be Machine Head, Dethklok and Arch enemy, but my fave MH song isn't beautiful mourning :P, neither is my fave Dethklok song thunderhorse XD (even tough it fucking rules, lol. But Arch enemy isn't in GH or RB anyway and i still like them pretty much :P .
