Actually, the flight attendant and the rest of the crew are French. It is my understanding they worked for AOM or Air Liberte, one of the two, but both are now defunct.

Regardless, there is no place in the cockpit for that kind of bullshit. The captain should have put an end to it and did not. Very poor command skills.

Little do people understand that the pilot made a mistake, and was not reliant on bad luck. He didn't pull out of the crab early enough which resulted in one wheel hitting the ground diagonally. All pilots have exercised this maneuver, and he blew it at the beginning, but saved it like he was trained to do.

A. It's not that easy to ask for the runway you want in a highly frequented european airport it's not the light aircraft you and me fly.

B.There was an experienced cpt aboard ready to take control over his unexperienced copilot ,informed of the limits of the plane and knowing the limits that looked pretty acceptable to me,it could have been worse.

C. that's not because they made of it a video that it hasn't happened anywhere else with no lethal ending.
