Excuse me, but why is it racist to ask someone's origins. I think it is you have the wrong spin on things. To those of us constantly trying to learn foreign languages, Parvina might be a source of interest. Have you never considered it that way!!!!
I could care less about Parvina's origins. She is part of Tajiki/Persian culture and as an Iranian I LOVE her. Her native language is Tajiki (Persian) and she is bringing Persian songs to the rest of the world, and that is all that matters.
@EsfahanKellie She is Korean. In 1950s many koreans from war torn North Korea were relocated to Tajikistan by Stalin. In Dushanbe they make their Korean salads which are very popular
It looks like you are a very narrow mind person who is judging people according their race, gender and language.I don't know why are you so excited about your idiotic discovery? Many people knew about her background. This is a strength not weakness. Thank you Parvina for all your great singing. I really love your songs. Durood ber Parvvina!
Well, she is a talented Tajik singer with a very nice voice and also she is beautiful too. We all Persian speaking proud of her performance and contribution to Tajik-Persian music. She belongs to those people who understand and appreciate her artistic work. Please don't put your racist comment here. Zand bad Parivna. An Iranian From Toronto.

Just answer the question please. I'm assuming that Parvina grew up and went to school in Tajikistan.

OK, then how did Parvina end up speaking Tajik, if her dad is Korean and mom is Kazakh? that's the bit I"d like to know.
