  • how is the oil consumption?

  • @DRAKO9764 I really do not know !!!

  • @damiyan83 check it! If the oil check lights up between revisions you might have a problem with your vacuum pump, or worse, your turbine ;). A new turbine is about 1200E or 2400E (depends on the model). Be sure to check your oil consumption!

  • Thank You for answer. I remember watching video where E38 BMW 730d is doing about the same speed (180) and fuel consumption needle stays around 10l/100km, but thats is much bigger and older car, so i thought Auris should do better. But can't find that video now..

  • Yes this is because top speed of this model is 175km/h so it is normal consumption to be 11l/100km in 180km/h. In this video I drive with 120km/h and average speed of my trip was 70km/h, avarage consumption 4.1 LTR/100km for 232.8 km.

  • my last message was incomplete, apparently I can not post link to video, where same car with same engine doing about 180km/h consumes about 11l/100km according to trip computer, and thats high i think.

It is first video in youtube if you enter "toyota auris 1.4 d4d top speed"

  • Doe's consumption rise quickly with speed increasing?

i have doubts after watching this

  • very very low consumption....great !

  • My gearbox is 6 M/T

  • What gearbox do you have in your Auris?

  • Super consumption great car with an great engine.

My last drive was over 660km Autobahn with average speed of 145km/h and my Auris 1.4 D4D only takes 5,8l/100km. I think this is very good.
