For those who don't own or haven't played him, Colby pretty much nailed Ziggs right on the head. Every single one of his abilities is a skill shot, so you can't just go in and spam spells, and expect everything to die just because they do damage. He's a skill based champion, almost as much as an Ez. Thanks for the vid Colby, loved it! That song rocked, too! Tell your room mate he's doing a great job!
@GrimSolitude He takes as much a skill as Cassiopeia and Ahri. Which quite frankly, are no-skill champs. Everyone always thinks skill shots = the champion needs skill to play. When quite frankly, the only skill you need to be good at LoL with any champ, is to know what your enemies can do, and to know what calls to make. Choose a bad time to dragon, you get your team killed. Regardless of the champ you played.
@Microtardz That is a needed skill, yes, but there is actual skill required to do well with skill based champs as well. (There's a reason that is what they are called!) There are intelligent, and sometimes very difficult ways to use all of Ziggs' abilities. You can't just drop a Mega Inferno Bomb anytime it's up and expect to get a kill. You need to know how low of health an enemy is at, where to place it, anticipate player movement, and that's just for one single champ.
@GrimSolitude You need that kind of knowledge for GP's ult. I don't see anyone saying he takes skill. In fact I hear people bitch about how faceroll he is 24/7.
Skill shots take about 2-3 games to get used to. It isn't skill, its just getting used to the champ. Kinda like landing Karthus's Q. Once you know the delay, its easy.

That's funny you hear that...I've not heard a single person say it. I even had a poll on the forums, and approximately 50% of people thought he was quite balanced.

And about 80% of high elo streamers think GP's needed a nerf for a long time.
Ziggs, however, is fairly balanced. People just don't know how to deal with him yet.

@TheBust55 he probably downloaded a champion mod, maybe only the pictures, some servers like eastern europe are also a bit different from the ones you're accustomed to, if you're in n.a. or eu eastern. if you are in eu west, then he may have downloaded a skin mod.

I like loch bane instead of WOTA, you don't have enough health to make the spell vamp worth anything. Plus it makes ur basic attacks with ur passive AMAZING!!! Good song btw.

@mrmansaywhat I'd say he got nerfed enough to really hurt his viability. I own fizz and even when fed in a match it still feels like I just don't do enough anymore...which is sad since fizz wasn't really OP in the first place just as you said people were complaining about how OP he was.
Next patch he's gona be nerfed to the ground I bet. at which point his damaged output will be crap his range will be reduced and no1 will ever play him again :,(
One thing I highly recommend is when playing agenst ziggs don't stand right next to your minions so that it is much harder for him to land his bouncing bomb or you make him pick between harassing you and farming

There's one thing that drives me crazy whenever I see a ziggs player doing it... NOT BUILDING LICHBANE! the synergy of lichbane with ziggs' passive can not be ignored. its just too strong. another giant damage nuke just from throwing an auto attack at someone.
@jacob7770 Veigar stuns people, bursts the enemy AP down and that's it. He doesn't have jack shit for AoE damage and can't do anything after he wastes all his spells on one guy. Ziggs has infinitely more utility, zoning, and spammy area damage. Have fun with that one kill of yours while your team is dead.
Nerf is needed just because someone having damage this high isn't ok since most the time all you have to land a shit easy skillshot and auto attack to burst people for 2/3rds their HP.

Colby while I like your build, I really think you should add a Lich Bane. With around 400 ap a Lich Bane proc with his passive at lvl 18, does around 1000 dmg to structures.
@silentbl00d Agreed, i played him yesterday and i didn't find him "OP" at all. I noticed he was extremely squishy and i was being targeted when going into team fights, i ended up with 3 - 2 and their team surrendered as we were out-playing them in everything. I find all his abilities very easy to use though, worked out how far and where to use my Bouncing Bomb and hit 80% of the time. Going to play him more today, as i need to learn him more. I have a feeling, he will be my main after 250 games!

@kavinh10 true but his e is like that movement control and leading the enemy. the damage is not that much but if they run through the majority of them then the damage will stack and even though its not that much its more of a blocking maneuver, say ur team is chasing down an enemy and u show up u block off and a path and the enemy will have to make choice whether to flash, keep going or run through your cc then by doing that be slowed and damage

You can make Ziggs into an AD champ.
He has excellent range and does well early and late game.
He is just pretty squishy :P
His passive just adds up so well with Madrede's and attack speed is recommended.
Just fling foe into where you want them to go and auto attack all the way.

I think he just need a small nerf..because the dmg on his ulti is for that range insane...they should just adjust the dmg and then he is fine!

There's one thing that drives me crazy whenever I see a ziggs player doing it... NOT BUILDING LICHBANE! the synergy of lichbane with ziggs' passive can not be ignored. its just too strong. another giant damage nuke just from throwing an auto attack at someone.

@jacob7770 Veigar stuns people, bursts the enemy AP down and that's it. He doesn't have jack shit for AoE damage and can't do anything after he wastes all his spells on one guy. Ziggs has infinitely more utility, zoning, and spammy area damage. Have fun with that one kill of yours while your team is dead.

Colby while I like your build, I really think you should add a Lich Bane. With around 400 ap a Lich Bane proc with his passive at lvl 18, does around 1000 dmg to structures.

@silentbl00d Agreed, i played him yesterday and i didn't find him "OP" at all. I noticed he was extremely squishy and i was being targeted when going into team fights, i ended up with 3 - 2 and their team surrendered as we were out-playing them in everything. I find all his abilities very easy to use though, worked out how far and where to use my Bouncing Bomb and hit 80% of the time. Going to play him more today, as i need to learn him more. I have a feeling, he will be my main after 250 games!

@kavinh10 true but his e is like that movement control and leading the enemy. the damage is not that much but if they run through the majority of them then the damage will stack and even though its not that much its more of a blocking maneuver, say ur team is chasing down an enemy and u show up u block off and a path and the enemy will have to make choice whether to flash, keep going or run through your cc then by doing that be slowed and damage
