February 12, 2008, a date that will live in infamy! The spineless Senate has voted by 68 to 29 to expand the government spying capabilities AND to grant retroactive immunity to the lawless Telecoms.
We will never know what they did that needed immunity from.
I called AND wrote both of my Senators. They indicated they would do the right thing, which from my position is: no warrantless surveillance of Americans and no retroactive immunity for the telecoms.
