Noo.... They are making my favourite book look bad! Ty is the sweet not smoking guy and they didn't get Marions death right! The girl playing Amy looks nothing like the girl on the cover actually they don't look like what they were derscribed in the book at all! This is nothing like the book I can't believe they twisted the truth.

I thought Coming Home was the first book with the accident then After the Storm was when Amy deals with Spartan?

I don't like all the changes in the story!!!!! like these: Who is Malory?, Why is Ty so mean and not so sweet like in the books?, Why Spartan in this episode an not in the second like in the books?, Why is Soraya at camp now anyway? She was so post to be going 2 weeks after the accident., And it skips the whole begging of the story. And many other thing to!!!! I'm not saying that I don't like the show, because I do, It's just that I wish it wasn't so post to be Heartland!!!!! Does anyone agree?

Seriously, all you who are saying "This is so different, I hate it", give it a chance! For crying out loud, if the TV series was exactly like the books, it would be boring because you would know everything that happens before it happens. Seriously, the show grows on you The characters develop into people you never thought theyd be and you find yourself counting down to the next new episode You can enjoy the show fully if you don't expect it to follow the books Stop complaining that its different

@Dancestar2212 I actually did not read the books. But I adore that Ty is sort of a bad boy. That makes him a LOT more interesting and entertaining. If they kept him as purely a good boy, I think that would be a bit boring. I like that he does have an edge. Plus, I adore the love story between Ty and Amy as it is in the tv shows. A sort of good girl/bad boy combination. So I like the show a lot. And it is better to see Ty/Amy meet and fall in love as opposed to him already working there.

@Dancestar2212 I think Soraya is still her best friend on this show...as for Ty....I think these changes actually make the show a lot better. They still have the main aspects of the show: Horses, treatment methods the same, Lou coming home, Scott, the horse being injured in the crash, etc. So all the main points are still there.

Well I begun to watch the tv series first.

So I hated the book.

But if you have both the same then you know what's going to happen So the Directer makes it different.

I have a special bond with this one horse that no one else can get near expect for me, People where I live call me a horse whisper but i'm not and don't wanna be, I listen to the horse and to hear what she/he wants to say and I respond to htat.

you guys, don't think of this as the book series, because it's pretty much a completely different storyline. Give the show a chance, it grows on you. It's ridiculous and drama filled and, well, entertaining!

As they say, the book is *always* better than the movie! ;)

it did the same thing for me. What I ended up doing was waiting for the faded red bar to fill up and then started the video. I didn't get any problems after that. If you don't want to wait for the bar to fill completely, give it a little while, and it should start playing

Jack did the right thing when he decided not to let Scott put Spartan down. Even if Marion had survived it would have taken her a long time to get better. She would have been put on Life Support. Jack, Lou, and Amy would have eventually had to decide whether or not to take Marion off of Life Support. Mom's a Nurse. That's how I know about Life Support. I think Mr. Mallon put something in the rode that caused Marion, Amy, and Spartan's accident.
