Almost all security suites are setup to detect what is known as PuP's or potentailly unwanted programs.

So a "keylogger" for instance will almost always be detected as spyware.

Antivirus programs will also identify many security tools as PuPs ... such as Cain and Abel which I use for ethical hacking... it is not infected but because of the nature of it being a password cracker, it will show as a PuP.

hi.....frds.i m writing here for those who things it is virus or there virus scanner detects its as a threat....

If you are truly talking about an illegal serial generator known as a keygen.. .then most likely it is indeed infected with "something"... or is being detected as an illegal program type... and if your scanner is any good it should identify what exactly it is detecting. I would suggest looking at the logs

It has nothing to do with compression ratios. The only way compression might come into play is if you were transmitting a virus in a compressed format and the scanners did not detect it because they were not setup to inspect inside compressed files.

@evilkidbuu4ever go to the pirate bay . org when you are in the pirate bay .org click on the top 100 button and then in applications click windows (if you have a mac then i dont think it will work) now the top 100 torrents will be shown click on number 5 it should read "MICROSOFT OFFICE 2010 PROFESSIONAL PLUS X86 X64 SP1 [thethingy]" then on get torrent file (not in get this torrent unless you already have a torrent downloader) now choose where you would like to save and save

@renatojosediaz1 now download vuze(or utorrent it doesn't really matter which but i like vuze better) just google vuze and it should be the first option. install vuze and then double click on your torrent wherever you saved it. vuze will automatically open and start downloading your torrent to a folder in my documents called vuze download. when this is done you will have a cd type file which you have to burn into a blank cd. since i dint have blank cd's a t the moment i downlaoded daemon tools

@renatojosediaz1 then when you are done installing daemon tools when you double click on the downloaded torrent you wont have to burn it. all these folders will open up. click on setup or something and the installation process will begin. if it asks you for a product key then put in one of the keys provided. it will install all the office programs. now follow the instructions in the video

@liamshand Of course it did. This activator will be changing features of a program, which makes AVG think of it as a "threat" to windows, and will want you to immediately delete it. It is not a threat however, and is 100% safe.
