the sirens where i live sound just like tht in moore, OK its pretty loud and awesome if you can imitate and scare the crap out of people during a thunder storm
My town's siren does High Low for 3 minutes then says, "Seek shelter immeaditly! This is not a test! Seek shelter now." and it repeats the high low signals every time. basically i'm the one who runs the siren system in my town.
@Thewoog34 Federal Signal buddy, I'm the one who runs them and owns them and fixes them too. Sarnia is the town that has Whelens (not to offend Whelen lovers; They suck)
@MegaCophater I'm a Sentry person myself but I've always preferred Whelen over Federal Signal cause of the wider variety of electronic sirens and better reliability (it's much easier to replace a blown driver in a Whelen than in a Modulator cause you don't have to remove every speaker cell above the blown one) but everyone has their own opinion.
@Thewoog34 Simple as pulling the entire stack off and replace the blown driver. but mine is a complete different set, it uses those speaker arrays connected to a rotator, and aren't you from the west side area?
PM me so we don't keep filling up the youtube comments number any higher.
you hear this when your in a castle with a torch.

nick06111226 2 weeks ago
@nick06111226 The lower pitched one is a Federal Signal 500 and the higher pitched one is a 2001-130.

The sirens in Fort Worth, TX and Burleson, TX actually speak. "This is a tornado warning, seek shelter immediately." It's pretty freaky.
