i remember i went on this ride a few years ago and we sat in the front of the boat. On the second waterfall we got so wet that when we were walking out a person at the exit asked if we fell in!!!

why do the rides look better in paris?

@TheHeatherd1979 Because Disneyland Anaheim and Magic Kingdom are older then Disneyland Paris. Because of that they could use more advanced techniques in Paris.

@MizzZest101 It's a restaurant, no cafe. It's called The Blue Lagoon. They mainly serve fish and seafood.

@SyncronisedKinetics Pirates doesn't work with Fast Pass. The only attractions that have Fast Pass are: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, Space Mountain: Mission 2, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, Big Thunder Mountain, Peter Pan's Flight and Star Tours.

In the Studios: Rock'n'Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith, The Tower of Terror andFlying Carpets over Agrabah.

Just take a Fast Pass if you think waiting time is to much. Some people think 15 minutes is to much already, others 45 minutes,

Wonderful job on the video! I've only experienced the Walt Disney World version in Florida and I'm remotely familiar with the original one at Disneyland in California but I can clearly see that Paris has the best one by far.

@superstarjonesbros Jack Sparrow adds an unneeded story to the ride. Marc Davis always said that Disneyland rides don't convey a story, they convey an experience.

Plus, Jack was after the original attraction opened.

i went to disneyland paris in 2002 xD I was in year 4 at the time and this was my favorate ride of all =D, there was just so much goin on in there i loved it, i stayed for a week and i went on it atleast twice a day =P

Wow! Fantastic Davey.

My first and only visit to the park unfortunately was not pleasant. I ended up getting sick on the Indiana Jones Ride and it screwed up the balance of my day. I never made it to Pirates! Thanks for posting. If you have the dark rides on film it would be super!
